|
| 70344550 | over 6 years ago | the osm inspector has been in a state of titsup for maybe six hours since it started failing intermittently with some points returning an error i can't reproduce now, with a server path, because it seems to have been given a kick a few minutes ago and is no longer blanking over the underlying tiles. good to know it was not just me this time. |
| 66333600 | over 6 years ago | hallo,
can you look at https://tools.geofabrik.de/osmi/?view=tagging&lon=138.93106&lat=35.08618&zoom=12&opacity=0.66&overlays=node_with_short_or_long_key,way_with_short_or_long_key in order to get these cleared up? thanks |
| 73327040 | over 6 years ago | hate to say it, but in this changeset you appear to have grabbed a node from way/60779902#map=16/38.6104/-90.6732&layers=N and joined it to the southeast end of the park boundary, probably replacing the node there. |
| 70344550 | over 6 years ago | i'm just picking one random changeset, but it looks as if you're deleting a lot of relation outers without taking care of the inners. the inners would previously act as gaps. now these inners are being rendered as outers, also filling the osmi cyan all over cali. that is the result of an error-correction geometry logic to take care of wrongly-tagged outers/inners. not sure what to do; i've restored outers in canada someone had nuked rather than repaired, but i don't want to do so here. maybe some these have later usefulness for a new mp outer. |
| 74193635 | over 6 years ago | FIXME also has the advantage for humans of standing out in a non-tool review as YELLING, and it appears for me in a C locale sorted before normal OSM lowercase tags, rather than being mixed halfway down the ever-increasing tags that require further scrolling and often easy to overlook. i have also added multiple FIXMEs, intended for humans, by varying the case for particularly difficult mapped items. |
| 74211122 | over 6 years ago | this does not match the 2018 tiger data. nor does it particularly match any of the relatively poor aerial imageries |
| 73894181 | over 6 years ago | that is either a residential road (although narrow) or a service drive from which real (unmapped) driveways branch as is very clear from the mapbox aerials. as i am not local i cannot guess the correct tagging to be used and any additional tagging for access or oneway properties missed from the tiger defaults. i trust with time some other mapper such as dankpoet, hundreds of whose driveways you attempted to purge with no consideration to the labour the other mappers have contributed, will get around to mapping more missing driveways and perhaps correcting or improving any mistagged items. if they haven't been driven away encountering an even emptier barren map than it presently appears. |
| 71085445 | over 6 years ago | do you plan to re-map this area, or are you just going to leave the entire riverbank relation broken? if you had done this in brasil, you would have gotten an earful. same with landuses in hungary inaccurately imported. there's someone in georgia (usian) who twisted multipolygons out of shape rather than delete them. i'm tempted to undelete the riverbanks to repair the broken multipolygob - oh, i *do* like that typo - and someone can either pull the banks into shape or trace replacements and then using replace-geometry to keep the history intact? i probably should disable this busted-MP layer as i've encountered nothing but iD-edited damaged multipolygons so far, and it's getting tiring repairing them with potlatch 1.4, the editor good for a quickie. no, no sleep for over a day, awaiting my russian pal to start turning the ukraine into an artwork of accupuncture in red, that i shall attempt to turn green. i lead such a rewarding osm life. oh... oops. i'm in the off-topic notes banter style we've developed. so sorry. *ahem* welcome to osm, adman at!!11! awesome! i just wanted to reach out!!! ponies and unicorn farts!!! well, %s, you're doing great mapping in your %lld changeset!!! awesome!! (oh gag me with a spoon) |
| 70337176 | over 6 years ago | hi adam,
was your intent to delete that landuse=forest entirely, or to improve upon it? just trying to clean up a bit, not having much luck, thanks |
| 70195457 | over 6 years ago | well, that was trivial. i wonder what happened with all the other previous members. sorry if i came across as too accusatory, i'm now awake some 28 hours and in no state for social interaction.. wait, i see -- there should be a lot of scattered wetlands, like along the slough. i might have to revert the relation to the previous state before this edit (easier than finding and manually merging the previous members). may be a while, not sure i am capable of thinking now. |
| 70195457 | over 6 years ago | hi,
did you deliberately lose the entire riverbank from this wetland? or is this an undocumented iD feature? i'll see if the old members are intact and try to restore this relation, but i should probably run the osm inspector somewhere else so i don't go mad wondering why so many simple relations have gotten broken... thanks |
| 71072397 | over 6 years ago | hi,
do you want to look at this and somehow close things so the park renders? thanks |

ho-ho, a p2 edit? if this is a potlatch 2 bug, it's completely different from the others i've seen so far... |
