please do not use the osm production database for testing, as the whole world now has an unintelligible craft node in revision 30 on the map at this point.

while this sort of testing may superficially seem harmless, there are appropriate development sandboxes provided by osm where this data will not be distributed to the world, but more importantly, where you can do extensive, even destructive testing without worry, which should have helped you to catch the serious bug that continues to manifest itself in adding inappropriate data worldwide which have no connection whatsoever to the items you intend to be updating.

as seen in https://nrenner.github.io/achavi/?changeset=62733536 you have managed to pull part of a highway significantly to the west, and thus pulled intersecting highways well out of position.

i have tried to fix this but it is not as simple as i would like with my tools.

can you look at this and revert these roads back to their earlier positions?

The intended recipient for this tagging appears to be the way way/247445176 . However, while it seems probable that all but 8 of the edited objects are probably nodes, that one is a building polygon, and its properties have been added to the node of the same number as shown below.

A simple logic bug, not sure why it was not caught in the testing done on the osm production database before now.

this is not a school in Tuebingen, but part of a street in a small town in southern ohio, and this is v3 of this node that got wrong tagging.

this type of bug appears to be present every dozen or two changesets submitted by this apparent gateway.

this changeset has added Tuebingen theatre tagging to a node of an old railway line in new york state.

this changeset has added opening hours to a point on an island coastline off ireland, not in Tuebingen.

this changeset has added tagging not in Tuebingen, but to the junction of two roads in Bruck an der Leitha, austria, which is obviously wrong.

node/144067412 , part of a trail or track highway, has been given a german hotel tagging, in new mexico in the us of a.

Worse, it appears this edit was intended for somewhere in germany, probably Tuebingen given the search hits for the applied name, the username and created_by field, and use of the word Geschaeft.
Not sure if this is an application bug, or what... But looking at the most recent changeset, there is a similar problem in the western us at node/144067412 .
I am not aware of discussion of such bugs in the german forum yet, but I expect to see the same soon.
