Hallo,
Can you explain why you have here deleted dozens of car park areas mapped by other mappers in great detail, and made no changes other than deletions here?

Hallo,
Can you explain why you have deleted quite a few car parks mapped in detail in this changeset?

Hallo,
OpenStreetMap is a serious project that maps the real world.
Not a playground for you to place fiction and incorrect items.
If you want to test things out. OSM is not the proper place as everything you do appears immediately for the world to see.

Hallo %s,
Unfortunately you have made several beginning mistakes in this changeset.
Most critically, you have used unaligned satellite imagery from Digital Globe that I've just measured shows an offset of nearly 8 metres from the much better aligned aerial overflights that are outdated yet still available from Mapbox and others.
If you still want to use the newer Bing imagery, you should first align it to match the buildings carefully mapped by user ENT8R. Use the `b' command or the layers icon which allows you to shift the background.
Secondly, iD is a beginner editor with a lot of problems or bad decisions, such as has happened where two buidings have become joined together when you made the mistake of moving them, at 218 1st Ave NW. Or 224 and the nearby firehouse which are now attached to the residential area outline.
The same has happened with the road you moved which bonded to the administrative boundary outline, shifting parts of it several metres out of the straight line it followed.
There are a lot more places where things that are easiest to maintain when mapped independently, are now joined to other unrelated objects. My editor makes working with these things rather painful.
Where you have added new buildings, you have failed to quadrilateralise() them to match those added by ENT8R, so they look very irregular and unprofessional in addition to being some 8m away from a more correct position.
Unfortunately, this edit has caused a lot of careful mapping by user ENT8r to now appear very poor. This is probably the biggest offset of satellite imagery away from aerial overflights I've seen within the US, and unfortunately, in this area, the excellent newer Mapbox sharp crisp and clean imageries, or the ESRI Community up to zoomlevel 22, are not yet available for more precise mapping.
The alignment of the USGS Large Scale Imagery, which I take as a good reference when nothing better like Bing z20 heavily-distorted urban imagery, agrees closely with the archive/Mapbox alignment, DigitalGlobe Standard shows about half the offset of DG Premium here.

Is this parking free, or is there a fee? Is it open to all, or just customers? This comment added by the mappy app `free parking' #mapsme

ciao Constable.
after no response to your hand-written comment (5359 has a one-click macro template for this SEO spam, have not seen it as of late) and with it having dropped off the overview radar,
well...
It almost feels as good as purging OpenPokemonMap Vanderlismus.

Hallo Lvan,
Whether people hate you or not depends (ideally) not so much upon what slander and liable and muck I spread about you, but hopefully on your actions in contributing to and editing OSM.
.
Your initial impression raised a red flag for me, so that a day or two ago I went through every single edit you made, and yes, I did revert or change things I felt were wrong. But that is not the way we like to do things, other mappers had already offered you feedback that would have helped you avoid making the same mistakes during the time it took for that feedback to arrive via a different channel.
As it happens, I posted bug-report Notes in places still needing attention when I did not make the change myself, in part in the hope another mapper with more patience would try to take you under their arm, as I see Steve A. has done, interact with you, and help you out rather than simply cleaning things up after you.
What I write about you in my comments is based on the impression I get and other mappers are more than welcome to contradict me just as I have contested similar accusations against others.
.
*To other mappers:*
I have in fact reviewed the entirety of contributions from The Mapper formerly known as Lvan, so assuming you trust my judgment, no need to repeat this. There is still attention needed in Hawai'i for false lakes, I placed a note (with likely blasphemous language, sorry).
.
No, Lvan, I did not single you out individually but as one of several users whose entire edit history I wanted to check out in detail, after having done the same for a user also editing in Hawai'i whom I discovered to have wiped a prominent military facility from the face of the earth, that went unnoticed.
None of your edits have gone this far, although you do appear to be fixated on footways, such as an athletics track someone else added correctly later, and lakes, none of which are actual lakes, and the no-problem buildings, where I must compliment you for adding them in detail far better than average, well done, I could take tips from you.
OpenStreetMap is also based on openness, where anyone like you can analyse any of my changes like here. No problem, I use a different editor (Potlatch) than you so without treading lightly into your environment, I can only say that the fountain amenity is for me the third menu item, last row, and swimming pools almost the bottom of the menu under Sports and whatrot.
Essentially I have reverted or fixed what I feel was wrong, without comment -- due to non-response until, well, I guess yesterday. If you're happy with that and best of all, learn from it, then great. If you want to contest something, then feel free. I agree the OSM distinction between streams and rivers is too vague and arbitrary, where a stream nearby to me is at least 5 metres wide yet normally carries so little water one can cross not with a jump, but without getting much more than ankles wet, and at times there's no water as it all disappears into the ground to emerge rather a distance away.
.
If you are not motivated by Pokemon mapping, my deepest apologies - the prominence of lakes, rivers, footpaths and parks fits precisely into a pattern of those who at times abuse OSM to mis-map such things, as well as those who map correctly yet fixate on these objects, overlooking other useful mapping info.
.
Given how much time I spent looking at your edits, I'd much rather welcome you to OSM as a good beginning mapper able to learn and improve, than the other user whose last contribution inspiring me to do the same was simple poorly-executed map vandalism.
.
That all said, I may comment on later changesets you make, but for now you're off my radar, and I hope other mappers can help you to improve your work (there's a multipolygon you should eventually learn not a km southwest as well as another further away, but these probably aren't beginner concepts).

Hallo Lvan-no-no-no,
See for example, changeset/56508413
It means there are countless millions of Pacific Chorus Frogs piled high along the banks of the raging Ross River, previously the gentle Ross Creek, awaiting either the establishment and subsequent mapping of a frog-ferry to guide them across the perilous rapids (they avoid the mapped streets for reasons best known to the Cane Toad), or an explanation regarding changeset/55882988 .
Not to worry, for the sake of #WontSomebodyThinkOfTheFrogs due to non-response I have calmed the waters and lo, witness the throngs of fat juicy tadpoles now trying to avoid the ravenously hungry ducks now attracted to this peaceful idyll within the bustling city.
Hope that helps!!!

Why do I care about Nazi swastikas drawn all over Israel? Because they don't exist. And like Pokémon fiction, they damage the credibility of OpenStreetMap as a factual database that can be taken seriously by thousands of professional, business and government oganisations.
Who is Niantic, and why should we care?
