phpMyGPX 0.1 - first release

Posted by es_ka on 4 March 2009 in English.

This is a little web based application to manage your collected GPX files and track points in a local data base. You only need PHP and MySQL (and a web server, of course) to run that.
It features keywording and searching your GPX files and displays your tracks on OSM live maps as an overlay.
Have a look at http://osm.erlkoenigkabale.eu/phpmygpx.php and give it a try! Maybe you find it useful...

Took a first look after fixing a few problems during installation:

* Had to rename "phpMyGPX" to "phpmygpx", which is located in the root directory of my webserver (lighttpd). Seems to be an hardcodes address? Otherwise I receive an 404 error message.
* Had to create the directory "files" manually. Otherwise I receive an "not found" error message.

Actually I find your software quite usefull, especially the OSM overlay. Would love to see some statistics features like http://utrack.crempa.net/ generates.

regards,
cyb

Thanks for your feedback, cyb!
* added missing "files" dir to archive
* webservers should be case sensitive with dirs and files, but lower case names are more general and might cause less trouble, so I changed it...

BTW, nice website and graphs. My statistics features are still rudimental at this time, more will be added sooner or later.
