you sure? There's barriers at either end visible on all satellite imagery, as recently as mid 2022 (and also mapped). I would be surprised if a public tertiary road has barriers restricting access on other side, so I assumed it was blocked off for construction.

Per the 2021 highway guidelines, tertiary roads should end by connecting to another highway of equal or greater importance, both of these roads did not do that. Since you're local, if there's a local guideline that supersedes the 2021 US guidelines, feel free to change them back to tertiary.

I'm not sure that this Southfield Bike Route is correct. A bicycle route is one signed or numbered route, usually with one defined start and end point. This looks more like a cycle network, shown here: route=bicycle?uselang=en#Cycling_network

Okay, I'm going to comment on this one changeset to reference all of your recent "egregiously mis-classified" changes.

First, please stop doing this. You are not the sole arbiter for highway classifications in Michigan, there's a group of us that have spent a lot of time going through the 2021 guidelines and bringing Michigan in line with them. Blasting through Michigan and changing them because you feel like you know what's right is very much not welcome and not tolerated, nor is it in the community-based, collaborative spirit of OSM. You calling them "egregiously mis-classified" means you do not understand the new highway guidelines or what we're trying to improve.

Therefore, I've reverted all of these changesets, just like I did 5 months ago when you last did this. I told you then to get in contact with us, either on Slack or the Wiki, and you never did. Next time you mass-change highway classifications in ways that are clearly against the 2021 guidelines, you will be reported for vandalism.
