hallo, is_in- und ele-tags sind keine fehler von Importen. ele wird an nodes über 1,7 millionen mal eingesetzt: http://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/keys/ele#overview siehe auch im wiki: ele=* und is_in wird insgesamt über 3 millionen mal eingesetzt. siehe dazu den wiki-eintrag osm.wiki/DE:Key:is_in

funktioniert hier reibungslos mit dem Firefox. Habe bis vorhin das flash-plugin 10.3.183 gehabt - ging ohne probleme. Habe dann soeben auf llash 11.0.1.152 upgegradet - auch hier funktioniert Potlatch 2 ohne probleme.

Ergänzung: die Maps bei garmin.openstreetmap.nl sind routingfähig.

schau mal http://garmin.openstreetmap.nl/ an... dort kann man selber definieren, welche Bereiche man haben will.
(ich weiss aber nicht, ob diese routingfähig sind. und Höhenlinien sind da vermutlich auch nicht dabei)

looks not bad with opera mobile... but there are some problems:
1. android-browser: zoom don't work
2. on opera mini: no zoom and you can't move the map
3. general: permalink doesn't work (jumps always back to Frankfurt)

wie Sanderd17 schon schreibt, empfehle auch ich Navit. läuft unter Android eigentlich sehr stabil. ich habe mit dem Desire Z aka G2 und Xperia X10 nie Probleme damit gehabt...

But, if there are differences, the temptation will be big to fix these differences on the basis of google maps... and this is not legal.

So its not a good idea to compare the OSM-datas with google maps in JOSM. I think, its much better, if you compare it with http://tools.geofabrik.de/mc/ or http://sautter.com/map/

...vielleicht habe ich auch nur gedacht, dass Du auch in der CH die maxspeeds entfernt hast, aufgrund des Rahmens in der Map im Changeset. Falls in der CH nichts geändert wurde, entschuldige ich mich für meine Vermutung.
Wie gesagt, hier in der CH gilt 20 km/h in der living_street und daher ist es hierzulande sinnvoll auch in der living_street einen maxspeed zu setzen.
