Hi Karl,
Thanks for the fast reply. Closes to Friendship Road that I have been was Taiwan, so still far from nearby...
I understand that attraction is applicable here. Maybe the highway [1] should also be tagged as Friendship Road. Do you know which section is exactly named like this?
Cheers,
Raymond

Hi Gudetama17,
Thanks for heling out with project 5509. I notice you have drawn a lot of buildings, and they have all kinds of funny shapes. Most of the time building are rectangular though. iD editor has a fast way to do this, after you finished drawing the four points of the building you can push 'S' on the keyboard and the the corners are nicely squared.
Keep up the happy mapping!

Hi Karl,
You've added Friendship Road as an attraction in this changeset. From the name it sounds like this is not an attraction, but more like the name of a highway.
If that is the case, then the name should be applied to the way, not with a separate node. This is however not something you can do via maps.ME.
Could you please update me. If required I can help you with instructions.

Sehr gut!

Gruss, dikkeknodel

Hi balducien,
You added a turning loop in this changeset. It wasn't connected to the actual highway however but just floating loose. Be sure to always connect this with a highway node.
I've done so now

Source declaration is incorrect, it should be:
website of the operator for section cut info, and logic of finding the location on the map :)

Hi KDS,
In this changeset you positioned the Tüfels Chilen viewpoint node exactly on the Tüfels Chilen limestone deposit, which is a protected area not to be accessed according to the signs around it. Since a viewpoint implies that people can stand there, while looking at something else, this seems not the most appropriate tagging or location.
I suggest to tag it as waterfall instead, since it it sort of a waterfall. If you want to remain it as a viewpoint, it should be on the path.
What do you think?

You really dive into this. Unfortunately such data cannot be used for OSM.

Nice work, thanks!

Hi stanton,
Thanks for the fast response. I was at the pass on snow shoes last Saturday, so I did see the Aria structures as well. I mapped some of the hiking routes yesterday. That's when I bumped into the phone in the middle of nowhere.
May it be a good idea to also move the phone somewhere closer to the OSM location of the tunnel?

Hi stanton,
I am wondering how a phone you placed [1] about 250m from the actual location of the tunnel improves the tunnel mapping. I seriously doubt that the phone is 250 meters west of the tunnel.
Could you please elaborate?

Hi Suse41,

Whenever you hit the Save button in iD editor, on the left side of the screen a menu appears where you can enter information about the sources you used for the edits.
I'm not too familiar with iD editor, since I use another editor myself, but most likely it automatically fills some fields based on the last values you used.
However, every time you save, you should update these fields to reflect what you actually used.
Please have a detailed look there and familiarize yourself with how you should fill those fields correctly.
A good way to get a bit more familiar is doing the iD walkthrough, which you can find via de ? mark button on the right side when you are in edit mode.
I hope this helps.
Cheers,
Raymond

Hi Suse41,

You always present your imagery used as Bing aerial and gpx data file. However looking at your entries it does not look like you actually had a gpx. May this be a comment you forgot to remove? Please try to always give correct source information as it helps others to interpret your contributions.

Ich nehme an das dieser Wanderweg gehört zu die gelb markierte Wanderwegen. Darum schlage ich vor die folgende tags zuzufugen:
symbol=gelbe Raute
osmc:symbol=yellow::yellow_diamond
