@Trail_Caretaker: I checked out Strava Maps, but I'm not seeing a way to correlate that data directly with OSM. Is there a plugin with JOSM or another tool that shows that map overtop of an OSM editor?

I ask because I live across the street from Anderson Park and frequently hike both that and Woldumar Nature Center. Some of your edits do not jive with what's on the ground. way/1297721464 in particular goes directly across an open air "drain" that is in a 10 foot deep valley with steep sides and constant water. Someone may have hiked it, but it is definitely not a defined path.

I would be wary of continuing to use that data to armchair edit/add ways in areas with frequent map edits.

You've given me a good excuse to go hiking this week, but (like treestryder mentioned) your edits have added unnecessary noise to this area.

Just letting you know that Anderson Park is not operated by the City of Lansing. I've updated the park's wikidata to reflect it's ownership by Delta Charter Township. If you used a source that showed differently, please make sure the source data gets updated.

Plats for this area can be found by searching "Wind Trace" at this URL: https://aca-prod.accela.com/LARA/Cap/CapHome.aspx?module=OLSR&TabName=OLSR&TabList=Home%7C0%7CLicenses%7C1%7CBuilding%7C2%7CPlanReview%7C3%7CFireServices%7C4%7COLSR%7C5%7CDevices%7C6%7CServiceRequest%7C7%7CCurrentTabIndex%7C5

Click an entry, then click "Record Info" and "Attachments" to download the PDF.

Excellent! I'm sure a lost delivery driver will appreciate our teamwork on this. :-3

@treestryder: It's on GM's private property so it's not accessible to the general public. I've looked over all the different views of this and it appears to be a concrete pad used to help utility vehicles ford the stream. I'm not attached to the "dam" label if you'd like to update it. This is likely just something I armchair'd while adding the local streams.

It’s been a few years since I made this edit. I believe I found the island names from this county’s parcel ownership map. If I remember correctly, most of these islands are owned by LBWL.

That way was incorrect. The building on this property is a datacenter, not a factory, and this area is already covered by a larger way with the tag "landuse=industrial".

Thanks baumann3141. I drive this area somewhat regularly. Once it’s open, I planned to track it with Mapillary and update OSM accordingly. I couldn’t tell exactly how they routed it to Wood Rd, so I just tweaked this line conservatively.

Some of the Michigan Historical Signs have different information on the each side. It appears this sign has the same information on both sides and I overlooked it. I will correct this.
