Trails are wrong here. There is a trail from Heald Street on west side of brook to this point, then it crosses an old dam to the east side. See town map at:

West side of brook is not passable past this point.

Although not on conservation land , this trail and Old Orchard trail is usable. The trail follows a stone wall, and over the wall are "posted" signs from the property owner, a gun club.

Trailhead is off driveway of 36-40 Corn Road; town web page has it at 44 Corn Road. Signage is small and easy to miss.

Trail is blocked by a beaver pond. There's a herd path around this, downstream (west) of the dam.

The "center trail" is a well-used dirt road. The north-south trail branch to the SE is unblazed/abandoned; official trail is the SW branch, and it joins the George Washington orange trail around the pond, blazed red and orange.

"There are several "footprint" marker signs on the Walkabout Trail. However, only this one has six toes! It could be a good reference for a hiker who gets lost. I don't know when this was put this up or why. Yet it appears to be an official marker."
