Do you enjoy first-contact science fiction? Are you okay with blue aliens? What about a character-driven story with converging plotlines? Would you like a helping of believable romance (gasp!) with that? Me too! That’s why I’m writing “The Blue”.

I started writing a few years ago as a hobby. However, I am entirely unpublished.

I grew up in a small American city known for suspicious mill fires and the Lizzie Borden murders. Could it someday be the birthplace of a published sci-fi writer?

I lived and worked in Singapore for two years, and didn’t get caned even once. I now reside in the US, but visit family and friends in Indonesia every year. These experiences inform both the story I am writing and the characters within it.

I work as an Applications Engineer in a large automotive drivetrain company. I write software and develop hardware for electronic motor controllers used in battery-powered drive systems.

When I’m not trying to make our world just a little bit greener, I enjoy trailrunning, woodworking, composing electronic music, reading, and (of course!) writing.
