| 148038208 | almost 2 years ago | Welcome to OSM! Nice work on the crossings. If you want to get fancy, you can add crossing ways and kerb nodes. There's documentation on the wiki, or you could ask for some guidance in the OSM discord (https://discord.gg/openstreetmap )

| 148028712 | almost 2 years ago | Nice work! If you don't mind me asking, what is your source for the alignment of these roads? They don't appear on aerial imagery yet.

| 148013578 | almost 2 years ago | I have reverted your previous edits because you dragged the road way around and changed the name of the road to your address. I'm happy to answer any other questions you may have. |
| 148013578 | almost 2 years ago | Hi Eniola, welcome to OSM. If you are trying to add your address to the database, you can add a point feature which has the address. See: osm.wiki/Addresses#How_to_map

| 147989959 | almost 2 years ago | Welcome to OSM. Good catch!

| 147989377 | almost 2 years ago | Welcome to OSM, and thanks for your contributions!

| 147381565 | almost 2 years ago | I went ahead and fixed it, and also removed the name. For future reference, you can right click the node and select "extract" to take the node off of a way. Also, we don't use descriptive names - access=private and the gate is already sufficient to prevent routers from sending people on the road. |
| 147381565 | almost 2 years ago | Welcome to OSM! The address node should not be on the road, but rather roughly in the center of the building with that address. Happy mapping!
|
| 147384856 | almost 2 years ago | Welcome to OSM. A few things I noticed - Street names should be unabbreviated ("Parwelk St" should be "Parwelk Street" instead). Also, service=parking_aisle should be reserved for service roads which are only used to access parking spots - the main service road that you use to get in/out of a lot should not be a parking aisle. Let me know if you have any other questions, and happy mapping!

| 147226748 | almost 2 years ago | Welcome back to OSM. You can press "q" in iD to square the corners of buildings you draw! Happy mapping!
|
| 147194935 | almost 2 years ago | I fixed the highway geometry in this changeset:
It looks like you drew the same road multiple times. I deleted those as well. |
| 147106291 | almost 2 years ago | amenity=fountain is for decorative fountains. You can always refer to the wiki to see how the tag is expected to be used. For example, the page for drinking water: amenity=drinking_water You can refer to the "Useful combinations" section, or just look at the fields that iD presents you with. |

|
| 147156673 | almost 2 years ago | Welcome to OSM! A few things - please don't use generic names like "house" - the name key should only be used for the name that the object is referred to as. Also, please press "Q" to square the corners of objects you draw using iD. Happy mapping!
|
| 147106291 | almost 2 years ago | Is this a drinking fountain/water fountain? If so, you can tag it with amenity=drinking_water instead
|
| 147106167 | almost 2 years ago | looks good to me! welcome to OSM!
|
| 147059721 | almost 2 years ago | You dragged some nodes around from Hillard road. I fixed it, but please be careful! |
| 147029152 | almost 2 years ago | Please don't use descriptive names. I fixed the tagging of the retaining pond, but maybe you could help identify whether it is for detention or retention? If it is is for detention, you probably will be able to identify a clear inflow and outflow.

| 146982053 | almost 2 years ago | That isn't meant to be a gotcha or anything, I really hope that this sort of work "surfacing" older/outdated data will help with getting POIs updated. There's a bot on mastodon which does something similar: https://botsin.space/@restobot |
