Welcome to OSM! You can press "Q" with an object selected in iD to square the corners. Please do this when you are mapping buildings.

Happy mapping!

Looks good. You should tag it as highway=residential like the rest of Pecan Glen Road when you get a chance!

Not every tag is rendered in carto (default OSM map style). However, some other apps and maps might support it. For example, I just checked and vending machines are rendered in the "OSMAnd" app. This doesn't mean that the tagging was incorrect though.

Hi kevinajames95, I'm not sure if this makes sense to be the primary name of I-35. It might be more fitting to be a route relation instead, since it's part of a much larger network of "Purple Heart Trails" and this is not the name that people use to refer to the highway

Hi wesnovak, this is not how building entrances are marked on OSM. The building needs to be drawn first, and then you can add a entrance node to the building outline. Please read the wiki page about entrances: entrance=*

Someone else has fixed it for you already, but in the Dollar General parking lot you made some of the ways for the service roads "doubled", with the way tracing back over itself. When you reach the end of the way you are drawing, you can press esc or enter in order to end the way. Hope this helps!

highway=path implies that they are foot access only unless there are additional access tags. You should connect them to the road if they are accessible from the road on foot.

You might want to consider using highway=track for roads like this, if they are only used to access the farmland. Also please try to make the junctions meet in a logical manner - try not to make them meet at very sharp angles unless that is actually how they meet in real life.

Welcome to OSM! I have changed the unclassified highway to an alley, you can read about how alleys are tagged here: service=alley

highway=unclassified is used for minor public roads that are not residential streets.

Happy mapping!

Hi Wesnovak, please be careful with your edits. You have added one of the numerous hospital nodes you uploaded to the relation which defines the city of Waco. Would be happy to point you in the right direction if you respond to this changeset explaining what you are trying to do.

I have removed the hospital nodes you added and updated the name and operator of the hospital. You can see my edits here: changeset/142066809

hi, it looks like you accidentally dragged a hedge out of place near Wendy's. Can you fix it?

Hello wesnovak, please use changeset comments when you are adding information to OSM - it helps other people understand what you are trying to do, and makes it easier to look at the history of objects. In this changeset, you appear to have added a way with no tags on it, as well as a few previous changesets.

Welcome to OSM! In iD, when you are tracing things that have square corners (like most buildings) you can select the way and press "Q" to square all of corners. Happy mapping!

Hi wesnovak, your crossing nodes dont seem to be attached to the highway or sidewalk ways. Please read the wiki on highway=crossing tag for more information. highway=crossing#How_to_map

I'm also happy to help answer any questions you have. Happy mapping!

Hi, this data does not go in the name tag, except for the actual name of the apartment complex, "Casa Rosa Apartments".

Hi Pilartes-Congo, you might want to consider adding a leisure=sports_centre area surrounding the pickleball facilities and add the name to that instead. You can read about it on the wiki here:
leisure=sports_centre

Happy mapping!
