Most ways don't have the 'surface' attribute.
But for inline-skaters, road-bikers and even pedestrians it is very important to know the kind of surface they do sports on!
Ich bin zwar neu hier und habe noch nicht viel editiert, aber es fällt auf, dass das Attribut 'surface' mit den Werten [paved | unpaved] selten definiert wird. Im Freizeitbereich und für Sportler ist das ein sehr wichtiges Attribut!

Die Auswahl paved / unpaved, die ich regelmäßig einfüge, ist auch nicht wirklich hilfreich. Schließlich gibt es gut und schlecht asphaltierte Straßen.
There are badly paved und well paved roads, brickstone und concrete roads. It's even for me difficult to distinguish between them.

I Agree. badly paved is often nearly the same as unpaved but nevertheless it's better to set the attribute!
