Geoglyph of Two Coiled Snakes

Posted by c tito young on 10 March 2021 in English. Last updated on 17 April 2021.

In a geoglyphic area of 50m x 50m two elliptically oiled snakes connected by a third snake, oriented east to west. The snake bodies, of long, medium and short lengths are etched inside a Nazca Trapezoid shape connected by nearby adjacent Nazca Lines. These three snakes are not identical and lay on flat land. The etching suggests one head is located in the center of the spiral, and a second head is located at the spiral’s 4’o’clock position on the outside of the circle and a third head located towards the 3 o’clock position of that spiral. 30m away, connect to this three snake ensemble but yet another snake is another snake in coil, also all in the east west coordinates.

Did you map them from an aerial provider if so which one. Or a survey? Way: Small Spiral (826794673) Version #2 Man_made=Geoglyph cleanup

Hi Andy..

I used the Aerial Provider Bing Maps. I then used Maxar Premium (Beta) to confirm its overall view. With Bing, you can sort of see the shapes… with Maxar you can see the snake head(s).more clearly.

Regards, TY
