Hi Guys,

I am working for a charity project who require some map on a desktop computer which does not have a internet connection.

Could I download a number of maps for a for a collection of postcodes?

Does OpenStreetMap provide directions?

Cheers

Hi Bobby,
Yes you can download/use/display maps for your project providing you meet the reqirements of the CC-SA license (basically putting 'maps CC-SA by openstreetmap.org' in or next to image).

Depending on what you want included you can download graphics from the 'export' tab, or download the map data and render the image to your liking.

There are some 'directions' websites and applications. If you require this to work in an offline mode, I suggest you look at Gosmore (osm.wiki/Gosmore).

Cheers,
Mungewell.

Hi, Is there any way to automate this? I need a few hundred postcodes from a single postcode, for example, b17 to b89 etc......
