| 69414063 | over 6 years ago | Hey, the two lake objects you added in this changeset are redundant. Lake Michigan is already mapped, and so is Crystal Lake. I'm going to go ahead and delete the extra bodies of water you added, but I wanted to give you a heads up. |
| 69228147 | over 6 years ago | Hey, are you sure about the business you added here? I'm pretty sure Crafthouse is closed for business, and in any case they were on Union, not Cass. Should this POI stick around, or should one of us delete it? |
| 62210410 | over 7 years ago | Hi! Thanks for adding this info the map. FYI, I'm not familiar with OsmAnd, but the way you added this address to Meijer wasn't quite correct. The address should be broken up into individual components, not combined into one field. The number goes in one field, the street name in another, etc. I'll fix this one, just wanted to let you know about this issue! |
| 62208072 | over 7 years ago | Hi! I'm assuming from the name, that the bike shop you added here doesn't really exist, so I'm going to delete it from the map. Please let me know if this is the wrong move. FYI when you're adding items to OpenStreetMap, you're adding them to the real map, that lots of people use, so please refrain from adding locations that don't really exist. |
| 61757369 | over 7 years ago | Removing this is fine with me!

| 61632735 | over 7 years ago | Thanks for improving the map! I checked your edits and cleaned up the roads a bit, but they looked good!

| 60825338 | over 7 years ago | Hey Mark! Thanks for adding this, but are you sure it's in the right spot? You gave the address as 223 E State St but put the location on the 100 block. |
| 60676988 | over 7 years ago | 👍 |
| 60680501 | over 7 years ago | Are you sure this is a roundabout? It's a circular road, but that doesn't necessarily make it a roundabout. I'd be surprised if this actually was.
|
| 60676988 | over 7 years ago | FYI: This road (Elizabeth St) doesn't connect through to Mitchell Street anymore. Look at the Bing or DigitalGlobe Premium imagery to confirm this. The change made in this changeset needs to be un-done.

| 60327284 | over 7 years ago | Hey! It's good to see the new buildings you've added. Just an FYI that the Mapbox Satellite layer has pretty old imagery in the Traverse City Area, so it's out of date in a few areas (for example, along Randolph). Some of the other layers have more recent imagery, although it's not as easy to trace, and you have to be careful to shift the imagery so it lines up properly. |

| 59557148 | over 7 years ago | Hi! Welcome to OpenStreetMap, and thanks for your contributions! FYI, best practices for areas (like parks) is not to extend them out to the neighboring roads. For one thing, it can make the road and the park itself harder to edit in the future. More importantly, it's not really accurate to say that the park extends all the way to the centerline of the road. In a little while I'll go in and update American Legion Park, unless you want to do it yourself. Thanks again for contributing! |
| 59023625 | over 7 years ago | Hey! Welcome to OSM and thanks very much for your contributions. Just as an FYI, it's not necessary to confirm oneway=no in situations where two-way traffic is the default (i.e. most roads/paths/etc). Definitely not a problem to do it, I just wouldn't go out of my way to make that kind of edit. Thanks again for the edits! |
| 58635585 | over 7 years ago | A tagging recommendation: The harbor area should be tagged as a marina, not a boatyard. A boatyard is dry land storage, not on the water.
|
| 58635492 | over 7 years ago | Looks good! You might want to tag the beach as natural=beach rather than surface=beach.

| 58635321 | over 7 years ago | Oh, and thanks for making a contribution to the map! Welcome to OSM! |
| 58635321 | over 7 years ago | Hi! Since you asked for a review of this changeset, I took a look at it, and I do have some feedback: You specified that Portage Lake is not an intermittent water feature. This is fine, but in general this doesn't need to be specified. We can assume that most lakes aren't. I'm a little unsure about the canal that you created. This feature doesn't really seem like a canal to me. I think that the area between the two breakwaters is just Lake Michigan. In my opinion it would be better to delete this and leave just two bodies of water: Lake Michigan and Portage Lake. Another option would be to tag the channel between the two lakes (not including the part between the breakwaters) as a canal. But that should be separate from Lake Portage, i.e. they shouldn't overlap. Lastly, the lights on the end of the breakwaters are marine navigation lights, and there's a special tagging system for those: osm.wiki/Seamarks/Lights It's _really_ complicated though. |
| 58417378 | over 7 years ago | That's better, thanks! If you're having trouble seeing something clearly in the satellite imagery, sometimes there are better options available. In this area, "Esri Word Imagery (Clarity) Beta" looks like the best option. |
| 58417378 | over 7 years ago | Hi! Welcome to OpenStreetMap and thanks for adding detail to the map: It's appreciated. These houses you've mapped are a little below the standard that we hope to see in the map. Where the imagery is clear enough, could you try to bring them a little closer to reality? I improved one of them as an example. Thanks again for contributing! |
