not sure if that's what it is. I remember this, it definitely has a surveyors mark in it; there is a little flap on top, and when you open it, you see the surveyor's thing. Maybe it was built for that rather than as a milk churn stand. It doesn't seem to have enough steps to be a milk churn stand anyway.

Fair play! How do you do it? I've travelled along mapillary imagery, and I have yet to find one that isn't near me, i.e. my own mapillary imagery.

Was ich meinte ist, ob es es als Milchbock gebaut wurde, unabhaengig davon, wie er jetzt genutzt wird. In manchen Gegenden Deutschlands (und Irlands) werden Denkmaeler gebaut, die aussehen wie Milchboecke/ Milchrampen, aber sie haben nie diesem Zweck gedient, weil sie nach der Abschaffung der Milchboecke gebaut wurden (in den letzten 20 Jahren oder so), wenn du verstehst, was ich meine.

Maybe we need to define them as a subcategory of memorials. There seem to be quite a few built in Germany as well, just as memorials, judging from newspaper articles and local history websites I found. memorial=milk_churn_stand maybe.

I didn't map this before, because I don't think it's an original MKS, just built as a memorial. They were usually not in use that close to the creamery, apart from the ramp/ platform belonging to the creamery building.
