Yes I think so (going from memory - I didn't take a photo).

To be honest I copied the surface tag from a nearby boardwalk segment that looked like the same material. Seems that one originated from the below changeset (which switched it over from "plastic"):

No worries, I’ll update it then. Thanks for the quick reply! 🙂

Hello, are we sure access=no is correct here? It looks like there’s a system where you can pay an access fee to drive on Boat Harbour Beach. I think that means the previous access=private value was correct, or perhaps access=permit.

Hi Don, is this location actually a holiday rental called “home”? It sounds rather unlikely.

I see you’re using Maps.me - perhaps you were intending this to be a private bookmark rather than an addition to the public map?

Thanks

Hi kmpoppe,

My understanding is that the name was made official some time within the last 12-24 months. The City of Paramatta installed several large “Welcome to Little India” signs in the area, along with a plaque bearing the name.

The signage is so prominent that some locals consider it an eyesore, and have petitioned for its removal:

I feel like the common usage and official signage qualifies it for "name" rather than "loc_name", but clearly someone has a different opinion. Happy for you to make the final call on it 🙂

Cheers, James
