It is a good editing to give names to the roads or places. You have done a wonderful job by naming Muwagama bridge.

but there were 2 little mistakes.

1. Pulungupitiya road which runs beneath the bridge had been connected to the road.

2. The same road has not been connected to the Ratnapura Palawela Road where it should be. What you had done is just kept the last node very close to the main road only.

I corrected those errors.

Here you have named the road which is a good thing. But have made several errors. I did not correct it. Please see yourself.

1. Has drawn an overlapping road while road is there.

2. Type is secondary which is incorrect. Secondary roads are for connecting town or major roads only.

3. Connected the road with the stram instead of marking a bridge.

I am sure it was a mistake. But you had deleted both ends of the Good Shed road of the Rathnapura and had marked the remaining part as a motorway erroneously. I corrcted those errors.

I am certain you will soon be a great OSM editor since your professionalism related to this field.

Anyway, please start in a less significant area and see what others have done before doing major changes to the map.

Please also note that most of the Sri Lankan roads have already drawn correcty and no need any amendment. Plaese find rural area roads which have not yet mapped and draw them.

I'm extremely sorry about the mistake. It's not a deliberate thing. I just tried the "ADD NODE" tool in JOSM for the first time and it made me make a node somewhere else. Then I deleted it believing it was the unintended node made me. That might be the reason for this grave mistake. I am not a vandalizer. Thank you very much for restoring my mistake.

When you create these two item "Ariyalei" and the connected road, you have done 2 mistakes:-

1. Overlapping/duplicate road (I corrected it)
2. Road that cannot be seen or cannot be authenticated by GPS data.

I noticed you were doing a great job by adding some features to the OSM map. I also noticed you were trying to do things more accurate and tidy manner compared to others. However there are some technical issues with your editing at Udawalawa reservoir. Being a new member, there is no fault at all with you. I have done more severe errors than yours at the beginning.

The issue is your addition of two more water areas to the existing Udawalawa Tank without incorporating to the existing body. Actually the person who had drawn the initial line of the said tank had not followed proper technical method.

To draw a large body like this, there is an advanced feature called "Relation" has to be used. Please see the Jayanthi Wewa and Ekgalaru Tank near Ampara area which were completed by me sometime back.

Understanding the Realation is not a complex thing. There are lots of internet documents available on the subject. (There are some valuable posts at OSM Sri Lanka Forum too.
