I also noticed, it looked like you deleted some treatment reservoirs, was that from local knowledge or other? The wiki notes that "The treatment reservoirs can be mapped with natural=water in combination with water=wastewater.".

I do note that man_made=wastewater_plant says "The fact that now this tag is rendered itself no need to be added landuse=industrial anymore." while that might be true for the default OSM renderer, a downstream data consumer who just wants industrial areas should be able to just extract landuse=industrial. I don't see any downside to having both tags, what do you think?

landuse=industrial is used for areas of land used for industrial purposes, a sewage treatment plant, I would class as an industrial process so should have the landuse=industrial tag.

So it can be really hard to determine which should be in name and which should be in alt_name, personally I don't mind either way, but they both should be there so people searching for either will still find it.

I'm sorry why is the alt_name redundant? The school website uses what I had in alt_name https://georgeshal-p.schools.nsw.gov.au/ so I think it should be kept.

They are correct if they match what the street sign on the ground says. It's good practice to map what's on the ground, osm.wiki/Good_practice#Map_what.27s_on_the_ground. Sure that's not an absolute rule, but a good guide.

End of the day, the government of Western Australia claims copyright to this data, and chooses not to release it under an open license. It's OSM's policy not to allow sourcing copyrighted data osm.wiki/Copyright.

It puts the dataset which we highly regard as free and open, at jeopardy when tainted with copyrighted data. So please don't do that.

It doesn't matter, if it's names only, coping data from a source that explicitly says personal, non-commercial use is not allowed in OSM. So you can't source any information from Landgate. Another user has since replace this data with Main Roads open data, which is licensed CC BY and for which we have the legal waiver for. So in the future, keep that in mind.

No worries at all. Certainly the wiki is a good resource for tags railway=station and then if you're using the default online editor, down you should see "All tags" to edit individual tags.

See my comment at changeset/72670000, I didn't actually mean to delete the whole railway=station, just the public_transport=station + train=yes tag, since these stations aren't part of the public transport network, but ARE part of the railway network (so railway=station).
