Found a tool to revert the changes and it has restored all properties to the correct shape.

I have checked and can see the two properties are triangled, which is as you suggested, incorrect. I suspect this may have occurred in version 2 (way/1310648334#map=19/53.364822/-2.000552) of the edit which were not done by myself. Do you know of a way to check this and revert the deletion of the gardens? The walled gardens in my opinion are significant as they form the edge of the cliff. Without it would seem to be an open unbounded area at the top of a cliff, which it is not.

I can confirm a family member used to live in one of the Terrace houses and the gardens are quite a significantly important feature for mapping in that particular case.

Additionally when the family member was at the address, their address was: (# number) Kinder View, Back Union Road, New Mills, Stockport, Cheshire.

There are a few references via a google search for (kinder view back union road), listing results at zoopla, and High Peak Council. Also Geoplace’s FindMyAddress and FindMyStreet also show the street as Back Union Road. However Royal Mail’s Postcode finder show without the Back Union Road part of the address. I don’t believe these sources can be used as the source for data for openstreetmap but this is how our family used to know the address. Would you know if this would suffice? The links are below.

Possibly true. But the roundabout didn't show as a proper circle on OSM (using Go Map), but a wobbly shape and showed as a two way road. Also Navmii uses the highly accurate what3words addressing system.

Duplicated data cluttering map. There is a school pinpoint within the school grounds. This entry is the school grounds one.
