| Ordnance Survey OpenData | The alternative to raster manipulations would be to follow the French Cadastre plugin and edit in the Ordnance Survey projection. |
| Minor Roads | A good place to start is with Yahoo aerial photographs, which are available at a large scale in Hyderabad and which we are allowed to trace street outlines from. If you have a location that is in a street whose name isn’t on the map you should find out which street in the photograph corresponds to the name by surveying it on the ground. |
| Top of the stops | Most of the red stops in London appear to be either misplaced or on misplaced roads, which is a different issue but still worth tackling. |
| things that bug me:leisure=stadium with building=* | How would you tag Rosslyn Park rugby round then? I tagged it as a stadium because there is fixed accommodation for spectators, but it is only on one side of the pitch and I mapped the whole area of the ground. |
| Brazil 250 Cities | Is there any point adding a few cities in neighbouring countries for international routing? |
| Countering Google's propaganda | Well done! By the way, another good idea is to point out how OSM does better on any matter any other commenter criticises (which may of course be thanks to someone’s freelance effort) or to see how it can be made better when it isn’t already. |

| Chasing changeset 3 million | Would you believe it! We have reached https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/3100000. |
| Kaduna November 09 | Is there anything we can do to make it easier for Nigerians to contribute? |
| a quick way to add a tag to a bunch of points | The tags on nodes imported from TIGER are being removed. A typical edit is osm.org/browse/changeset/2780108. |

| Frustration | Mapnik has got a feature to omit names when they get too crowded. If there’s a similar provision for POIs they could be put into the smaller-scale style sheets. You can ask for this at http://trac.mapnik.org, though that’s only useful if there’s someone out there willing to code it. |
| Frustration | I left Wikipedia because there were people who threw away all of the supposed good they did for the project with their abrasiveness. Unfortunately there are people like that here to and I don’t know if they can reform themselves. |
| Giant Building in Lodon | The park was part of a (useless) multipolygon and someone’s evidently attached their building to it instead of creating a new one. I’ve found attaching a way to the wrong relation in Potlatch is only too easy. |
| Marketing | Perhaps we should be looking at throwing this open and seeing if there’s someone out there who’s willing to put time and inclination website maintainers may not have into redesigning the OSM ‘family’ of websites (that currently have the look-and-feel either that Mikel put together or the default for their content manager) as a more coherent whole with present-day standards of usability (10 years of experience in a reasonable mainstream, no need to compromise for Netscape 4, …). Also remember that hosting community pages within OSM is more important than maps, which others can pick up on. |
| New announcements mailing list | Does it make any sense to carry the announcements on blogs.openstreetmap.org ? |
| Let's talk buildings tomorrow night | I’ve hit a snag: a previous mapper outlined the tower bit of the Telecom Tower leaving out the low buildings around it. If I fill everything in Helsinki-style the arguably-interesting outline is lost. |
| Need better photos of India | Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Although aerial photographs are very useful, there are many other ways to make maps. Have you had a look at the OSM India page at osm.wiki/India yet? |
| Why are some people lazy? | The new Bad data proposal is a scheme to mark traced aerial photography or maps as out of date or otherwise unreliable so that they can be obscured in editors and users don’t copy details into the OSM database reducing its accuracy. |
| Mapping Niger | Have you thought about how we could get a local community going to fill in the gaps and keep things up to date? Does anyone know someone who’s gone abroad to work or study, or is there a magazine that circulates in Africa we could promote OSM in? |
| Crawley complete, time for a break. | Congratulations! Does Crawley (or anywhere else that isn’t there already) qualify for the Hall of fame? |
| A Tidy up and more back roads | Are they really mini-roundabouts? If so, whoever’s done this is not only breaking routes, they’re making the map less accurate representing roundabouts. |
