Hi,

This 'industrial' area looks to me to be 'commercial'. Looks to sell services and goods, not produce goods? So I have changed it to commercial.

Hi,

You have tagged sport here as tennis. These look too small to be tennis? Possibly volleyball??

I have separated out the netball courts. And made a single small court for the number of small courts that exist. It needs a sport tag and then to be copied ... The new way is number 709885620.

Error!

Place=island must form a single closed way, not individual ways that when connected together from a closed area.
For multiple ways to form an island .. use a multipolygon.

Humm ...
Deleting way/678904551 (which has no tags) has deleted the Timor Sea... I have restored this way and thus restored the relation for the Timor Sea.

While large relations make things difficult, deleting them is destroying data. Deleting the Pacific Ocean may make things easier for someone editing a beach in the California... but that hardly justifies it?

Some ideas for you?
a) Download only the coastlines and islands that you want to edit. Edit them. Then possibly upload them.. and 1 day later check that the mulipolygon relations are ok using https://tools.geofabrik.de/osmi/?view=areas&lon=147.21387&lat=-31.88315&zoom=6 .. and then fix them.

b) rather than deleting an island ... make your new way on a blank layer. On another layer download the present OSM island. Merge the new data on to the layer with the old data. Now use the tool 'replace geometry' and you now have the old way .. updated with your data.

Correction to comment!
I think the long thin 'building' sections may simply be connecting corridors, possibly only a roof. From satellite views I would not be bothered mapping them. I would map each of the larger buildings separately and leave those thin connections for someone on the ground.

Hi,
Problems.
https://tools.geofabrik.de/osmi/?view=areas&lon=145.00206&lat=-37.84478&zoom=18

Here each of the member ways are tagged as buildings. And so is the relation - this is redundant.

A simple node tagged with both railway=station and public_transport=station. See railway=station
and public_transport=station
If you want then a simple way around the entire station complex, not just the buildings, can be done.

The relation can then be deleted.

Next .. the buildings tagged as roof, these should also be additionally tagged with layer=1 - this way they do not conflict with anything that may be mapped on the ground (as layer=0 - which is the default).

Hi,
Problem. With multipolygon relations the outer members should not share ways.

See https://tools.geofabrik.de/osmi/?view=areas&lon=144.99529&lat=-37.78863&zoom=18

In this instance I would tag each of the member ways as buildings.

Then I would have a simple node tagged with both railway=station and public_transport=station. See railway=station
and public_transport=station
If you want then a simple way around the entire station complex, not just the buildings, can be done.

The relation can be deleted.

The changeset comment can be improved - as well as say where, say what your doing...

The creek may be better 'seen' on the LPI base map.

Hi,
You tagged way/667059306 as sport = picnic ... 'picnic' is not a sport... I have removed this tag. I have added the 3 individual pitches for each sport.
For the 'picnics' I would suggest locating a more suitable area and adding a node with the tag tourism=picnic_site.

Keep mapping.

Hi,
One of these sports appears to be basketball not soccer;netball. Some are too difficult for me to determine from Bing.

Hi,
There is a problem with relation/9845963 Sunshine Plaza, see https://tools.geofabrik.de/osmi/?view=areas&lon=153.08615&lat=-26.65507&zoom=17

If it is all one building then a single simple way will do.

Hi,
Moving node/4032839889 some 62 meters has caused a flight of stairs to cross themselves...

I have reverted the movement and unlinked the node from the platforms.
