Hi
Note
This route was in Public Transport version 2 meaning;
ways are in order of travel - start to finish
stops are in order - start to finish.

I have done the ways, but the stops need to be done too.

Hi,
Multipolygon relation outer ways cannot share segments. relation/17039943 has been deleted - tags placed on one of the ways .. the other way looks like a garage to me and I have simply tagged that as building=yes.

Hi,
Multipolygon outer ways are not allowed to share segments. I have deleted relation/17020314 - garden school and simply places the relevant tags on the ways. That is simpler and does the job.

Sport = soccer..
Changed to building grandstand and added pitches .. as per Ersi ..

See what you think..

Hi,
I have separated the individual courts.
I have also added buildings, and then placed the club on one of the buildings together with club=sport, sport=netball.
I think that is a little better..

Ok...
40N not part of the original gazette, but the property report puts it with some of the original gazetted areas. So that is 'good', the property report/planning property report are dated from when I accessed it ... meaning it is upto date' as far as they know.

145856634 almost 2 years ago

Lot 40N does not appear to be part of the gazetted area for The Pines park ..

Above .. I was wrong in attributing it to local gove.. PUZ7 = 'Public use - other public use' whatever that means (probably equivalent to 'miscellaneous' !).

HI,
The planning zones report https://production-planning-report-pdf.s3-ap-southeast-2.amazonaws.com/Allot-2086-Parish-Of-Frankston-(ID216301107)-Vicplan-Planning-Property-Report.pdf suggest that some of the area is under local government control while some is 'Public park and recreation/conservation reserve' ... I think the later is the Vic Parks bit .. while the local government would be a separate thing...

Hi,

There are 2 'Dead Horse Gap'. One signed on the road is as close as that gets to the true gap, I think of it as a tourist sign. The other is the true gap .. as recognised by the Geographic Naming Board. I have rest the second back to where it was.

The government date is official. It includes legal easements. My experience is that the government date is reliable. Boundaries cannot be accurately obtained for imagery or casual observation.

More? Even Parks Vic who run the park and must know the boundaries so don't go messing with others property agree with the CAPAD data .. see https://www.parks.vic.gov.au/-/media/project/pv/main/parks/documents/visitor-guides-and-publications/the-pines-flora-and-fauna-reserve/the-pines-flora-and-fauna-reserve-visitor-guide.pdf?rev=799d555f1b4742e992d9eca40684ab5d

I would suggest you talk to a parks person about your impression of where the park boundaries are ..

HI,
The Federal Government through the Collaborative Australian Protected Areas Database (CAPAD) sets the boundary for this Reserve to exclude the tree are you claim as part of the Reserve. What evidence do you have that suggest the government has it wrong???

The way/123641736 entered here with the tags naturel=wood (and it is not all wood) and the name 'The Pines Flora and Fauna Reserve' I have removed as it
1) is not all trees
2) breaks the boundary relation for 'The Pines Flora and Fauna Reserve' relation by including members with the role 'outer' within a member with the role 'outer'.
3) Duplicates the name ''The Pines Flora and Fauna Reserve'.

145522346 almost 2 years ago

Hi,
There should be no need to edit 'Pines Flora & Fauna Reserve' as that comes from government data. Assumes that no one has altered it from when it was first entered. Try to leave these government entered data alone.

I have tried to detail the trees in this area using bing. As it is a reserve the trees would not be used for produce thus not a 'landuse=forest'. When looking a 'green' area does not always mean 'trees' - could be scrub, heath etc.

Part reverted in Australia, mapped area is of one farm.

69291345 about 2 years ago

Hi,

I have added data in this area directly from the Geographical Names Board of New South Wales...

This removes the name from the peak you have named 'South Rams Head' which has no name on the DCS Topo map nor on the DCS Base Map nor according to the NSW GNB.

For the official South Rams Head peak see node/11439426463 . It may not be high but it is south and officially recognized.

From osm.wiki/Proposal:Farmyard
Landuse=farmyard: Area of land with farm buildings (farmstead, sheeds, stables) / barnyard

Landuse=residential: An area of land having predominantly residential buildings such as houses or apartment buildings.

143245354 about 2 years ago

Hi,
I find it better to map the fields more individually. The fields don't conform to north to south nor east west lines.
The relation/16607085 should include all the water ways as inners. Some of the landuse=farmyard are actually alnduse=residential.

Ok, I've made the changes to the 686 route. It is about the only thing they can do. I have moved the bus stop over to the car park too

145103820 about 2 years ago

Moving the roundabout in the relations 3449530 and 3449531 bus route 909 end of the relation breaks the PTv2 rules - ways must be in sequential order.

I have repair these.

145098018 about 2 years ago

Hi,
What does the 682 bus do? Do a circuit around the car park?
