I would understand these changes, however, SR 772 is a more important route than a lot of the other secondary routes like SR 645 and SR 774. Yes, it's not as important as routes like LCP and Northstar but it's in a difficult position. Either SR 772 can get re-upgraded to primary or some of the secondary routes can be downgraded to tertiary

I would understand why this was downgraded. It is still an important route that connects US 50 and the rest of VA 237. It's in a difficult classification, as there are other primary routes, however, this route still serves an important connection that connects more residential routes.

I agree with this decision, however, this creates a primary stub with SR 237 and US 20. I would upgrade the stretch of SR 237 to primary and Sloane to secondary

I agree with this classification, but it is difficult because there are some interchanges where MD 175 has highway type intersections

I would typically agree, however, the classifications say that a primary state highway is typically at least secondary. This road possibly could be an exception, but it's a collector to US-29

I would keep the stretch from LCP to Northstar Primary because it serves as a main E-W route into Brambleton as well as having some shops/commercial spaces nearby

I would agree, since PWP is just as important as VA 234 in that section, but I would still keep Liberia Ave primary since it is only a bypass for Manassas and doesn't have any marked route

It's the main route that parallels I-69 and connects I-610 and downtown(not including Memorial Drive)

Agree with this one. It connects US 29 and US 50 as well as serve as a residential collector. Also I didn't notice that it had a secondary state route added onto the road.

I would just keep it primary for now since it is an important route, but OSM data will determine if it is primary or secondary

138208068 over 2 years ago

International Drive would be primary because it is the busiest non-interstate route that directly goes north to south

138208068 over 2 years ago

I would say so but south of VA 267 I would say that International Drive is primary

Where did you get the street numbers to go around Herndon Pkwy and I'm just wondering why the numbers loop around Herndon

I'm reverting these changes.

I think this was a good move, since Washington Boulevard isn't as important as Langston Boulevard, but is still a primary state route. I would keep the VA 237 part primary because it is an important road that connects Falls Church to Ballston, so I think the part east of Ballston is overclassified but I would revert the changes.

I think this was a good move for K street because H street connects to Florida Avenue and Benning Road whereas K street is a collector road. Unlike 14th street and 16th street where they are more important in different places(north of U street for 16th/south of U street for 14th) Having K street as secondary is better, knowing after being a US 29 main road, wasn't really significant after Mount Vernon square and was only a collector. This was a right move.

Also 16th street is more important north of U Street and 14th street is more important south of U street because of connections. 16th street connects to MD 390 in north to connect Georgia Avenue and 14th street connects to US 1 in Southwest DC and Virginia. U street transfers power from 14th and 16th streets.

I get it now. It starts with FCP(trunk) then Old Ox(primary) then Waples Mill(secondary)

137494099 over 2 years ago

16th street is more important from up U street. South of U street, 14th street is just as important, even slightly more because 14th street has more capacity and worse traffic. It is a bustling commercial hub while 16th street has a busway, which reduces capacity and traffic, as well as less commercial space other than some hotels and shops. so yes, 16th street is more important, but 14th is just as important down U street.

Also FCP is trunk but I would redirect the primary route to Waples Mill Road
