Beach fixed. I extended the much long line along the two short lines, completing the polygon. :) An alternative way to do this would be to create a relation, but for something likes this, the polygon is better.

building=farm is the farm house, where the farmer lives.

building=farm_auxiliary is a general farm building, where you might have animals, food stores, vehicles stores, etc.

Thank you for mapping the houses. I mapped Dunshaughlin, Ratoath and Ashbourne to a good standard earlier in the year, but mapping the buildings broke me. :( :) In the other two towns almost all buildings are mapped except where it says fixme = Add buildings.

In general, roads, paths, driveways, etc. should connect up. However, you will have places like golf courses and farms where they don't connect.

Note that OSM is case sensitive, so it doesn't recognise "EirGrid" and "Eirgrid" (small 'g') as the same thing.
