Hi, many trails were missing and many were not labeled. The govt trail map has trail names on it, which I used to label the paths. Is there something that is incorrect? If so, I would gladly fix it. Thank you.

Ok, I think I understand what you mean. So, for instance, if a large trail like North Country Trail is correctly marked with the relation of "North Country Trail", then the trail should not be named the same, otherwise both of the names will render? Just leave it blank or label the path with a local trail name? Is that what you are saying? Thanks for bringing this up.

Yes. I had contacted the city clerk to verify it before I added it to the map because it did sound unusual. She said that the city owns the land and it is a park for the public to use. It is not a formal park yet but it is a park though according to them. There is a sign there as well calling it "The Dump". It is a public boat launch/park/composting dump all on a parcel the city owns.

When I was down there a few weeks ago the path looked paved the entire way but was blocked off still. Why can't a path be not-under-construction, but blocked off for some other reason. For instance we had a path that was finished in Walled Lake area be blocked off for a year after they finished the path and new bridge, because the city wanted to open it with a ceremonial ribbon cutting. I am not sure what you don't like about my work here. Would you care to elaborate? I will of course fix something if I made a mistake.

No, I am not positive. It could be a single-lane service road bridge or a trail bridge. I thought it was the former when I drew it. It looks to be as wide or wider than some of the single-lane bridges I have driven across though. I removed it because I am not sure.

It is just a standard sidewalk that can be used for all bikes or walking. Just like 99% of the sidewalk length out there. Ok, are you saying that my marking the sidewalk for foot is unusual and redundant? Ok, it proably is. I am not sure what the big deal is to be unusual and redundant though.

What is the end effect difference of Foot=(phantomed out grey) designated vs. Foot = yes?

If a sidewalk was built for both bikers and walkers in mind, why can't they both = yes?

Everytime you have OSM email me I have to go to my pc and login to OSM to see respond to your emails for starters. I am also going to guarantee that this will be many back and forths before this is done vs just talking for a few mintutes. I nor my OSM friend could agree on what you meant in your first correspondance.

Let's use a better way to communicate. This took me a while to find. Can we communicate another way, like email, text, phone, etc?

The trails are and have been under construction. They are just moving slowly and with limited power equipment at the moment. I will mark under construction then. I will add the construction tag. Thanks.
