Hier trifft es wegen "Nebenstraße" nur eine Buslinie - das kann ich in JOSM morgen/übermogen schnell korrigieren, iD ist nicht wirklich gut geeignet für sowas.

Bitte bei weiteren Edits beachten.

Hier hatte gegebenanfalls ein einzener Node auf dem Weg mit crossing:island=yes gereicht, statt die Verkehrsinsel als eingeständiges Objekt zu mappen. Aber das ist "Geschmackssache".

Node mit crossing:island=yes neben der Verkehrsinsel ist aber falsch, da es das Objekt quasi verdoppelt.

that's actually not the right approach as there are tons of different maps.

The map shown on openstreetmap.org may not show the surface type of an "unclassified" road, but it's considered as an odd idea to tag the road as "track" just to see the tracktype "grade2" on this particular map style.

"we do not map for the renderers", we map correct data.
It's up to the individual map painters to show this (or not) - and "mapnik" aka "carto" (openstreetmap.org) decided not to show the surface/tracktype for most of the roads.

No reason to manipulated (fake) data to see a desired effect on a particular map.

So if this road is used primarily by agricultural and forestry vehicles - I'm fine with 'track'. Otherwise it should be 'unclassified'.

The history of the way shows 'track' for most of the versions, so I can't judge on that.

Kindly consider my comments and decide on how to proceed.

"track" means: primary use is agriculture or forestry.

In this case, I'd say: "unclassified" as it connects Landstetten, Jägersbrunn and Maising for normal traffic.

dass hier keine Schilder stehen habe ich schon gesehen.

Mir geht es um die Verkehrsbedeutung, die ich hier als privat (wie du andeutest) ansehe, auch wenn hierzu wiederum auch keine Beschilderung existiert (?).

Als Beispiel: die jetzige Lösung erlaubt es Navis, Autoverkehr durch die Siedlung über die highway=service zu routen.
Das enstpricht sicherlich nicht dem, was die Anwohner, der Zweckverein, ... wollen und ehrlich gesagt: ich würde mich als vom Navi verarscht vorkommen, wenn es mich einen normalen Bordstein hoch über schmale Wege durch eine Siedlung führt.

Das alles nur als Beispiel warum ich highway=service als nicht angemessen sehen. Gegebenenfalls könnte man ja service=driveway oder =alley dranhängen.

Auch als Beispiel: eine Staatsstraße wird manchmal auch nur als tertiary getagged (statt secondary), wenn die Verkehrsbedeutung (wegen Ortsumfahrung) gering ist.

Ich bin eben auf der Rückfahrt von einer Tour hier vorbei gekommen.
Am Gebäude steht tatsächlich "10 Jagdstraße", aber darunter "Zugang Zeppelinstraße" - also "Anhang".

Ich denke, wir sollten dieses Gebäude ohne Hausnummer lassen, es steht auf dem selben Grundstück wie das andere, das ich als "Haupthaus" betrachten würde.

Information from e.g. Bayernatlas.de must not be used at all ... except their "Bayern (80 cm)" aerial images as background for editing.

If in doubt about the license: don't use a source.

OSM allows using our data for any purpose (commercial or not), only requires to state the origin of the data.

Many "open data" sources (CC-BY-*) require the same, but this cannot be supported by OSM.
We would habe to put their names into the e.g. right bottom corner of e.g. osm.org ... which would fill half of the screen - not good.

At "Odeonsplatz, Munich" there is short stretch for both directions ... using 'role' = 'forward' for the particular ways.

Navis routen einen als Autofahrer problemlos hier rein und sogar durch ( osm.org/directions?engine=fossgis_osrm_car&route=48.08568%2C11.83595%3B48.08750%2C11.83578 )

Ich denke aber, dass das nicht im Sinne der gedachten Verkehrsführung in dem Viertel sein kann. Und spätestens wenn ich den Bordstein sehe fühle ich mich vom Navi vearscht.
