I live in Heverlee but study in the park and know a lot of people that do live there that dont know it as such; I get the feeling that the name is a nickname only used by a certain group and as such not really fit for a map like this.
Last time I heard people talking about this tree with this name was them discussing how it bizarre how it's named de batsboom.

As a local myself I know no-one that refers to this tree like this.
Not that long ago I even had a discussion with people about who calls it de batsboom and everyone agreed it was a strange name they didn't know.

In any case, I would argue that a nickname given to a tree like this doesn't belong on a map anyway, as those things change quickly and are not universal.

My problem was mainly that people that see a path here would think they could pass there with their bikes/grandma/.. which wasnt possible when i went there but I didnt know about the passability thing so yeah

last time I checked a path is a passable way by definition, but if OSM does it differently so it be

I assure you that when I passed it was not passable for people that werent able to climb over 1 m high fallen trees and due to it being quite overgrown I concluded that you'd be better of just walking through the forest than following the path, disqualifying this path as being a path
