The secret behind the tagging of multilingual name

The first thumb of rules is do not mechanical edit place where there is a active community, place like Europa. Your edit might got rolled back if in serious condition due to the nature of mass modification, some one report that some problem occur. I use the CC0 license Wikidata item that does not include coordinate data, just the sitelink of different language version of Wikipedia. Sometimes the Wikipedia article name and the name previous added on OpenStreetMap is quite different, if you just replace with the Wikidata data, you are in trouble when European community found out.
Compare to Europe, editing in China or the US does not encountering much obstacle. The former one community is much small, there are so much place and administrative relation has not been edit of multilingual, even has the form of Chinese name plus English name in parentheses of name field, which usually stands for local name. The latter one is due to the fact American are mostly monolingual people, not doing so much on add multilingual. If you want to go to a trip to the US, you might spending time to add the language you familiar. So it is a easy task to using Wikidata multilingual data as a source, adding it on OpenStreetMap in the US and China.
In the sinaphere world, there are different character set, the traditional Chinese and simplified Chinese version. Some times it is just simply characteristics different which is transferable. Some times the term use in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong is totally different, in the Hong Kong case it is a name that is derived from Cantonese. We should filled the empty field of zh-Hant, zh-Hans, and even zh-Hant-hk. And facially we should fix the problem that name:zh is different according to different place. And a much radically thinking is that we should not use name:zh. The app that use OpenStreetMap, it should use name:zh-Hans and name:zh-Hant.
Wikimedia Map hosted by Wikimedia Foundation is used by different Wikimedia project, for showing object location. You can modify the url of Wikimedia Map, adding the correspondent language code, like name:nan, name:hak, name:zh, even name:zh-Hant, and it can change the place label in instance in the language you type in. But their is a merit that Wikimedia Map doesn’t update very often, you might already edit the date for awhile, but you have to wait for 3 or 4 months for the map to update to most current date.
We still have many things to do, like adding different language name of countries, cities. Even now that not only Taigu and Hakka-Fa the Chinese name filed is not very much.
