Hi V, trying to understand why you deleted some of the buildings I added yesterday? What was the issue ?

It was the way I used to tag dropzones when they started being implemented in Brussels - in order to easily relocate/change all the dropzones when they had a proper tag, I marked them as floor/customers only as they're not supposed to be used for private bicycles, only shared micromobility. All the dropzones I added should be changed to whatever tag system OSM.be as now selected.

Mapcomplete Cyclofix has an option to add cycling parking, including photo and detailed info :) https://mapcomplete.org/cyclofix.html

Hi - can you add more details when you add nodes such as bicycle parkings? Not knowing the type, capacity or having no picture makes it difficult to see if it's a new one or one that had ben previously added. I.e. this node, very close to two other existing similar bike_parkings. Thanks ! :)

Hi Bear, well, I had multiple meetings with ANB about this - it is an archaelogical feature, not an official path. In the Flemish Sonian Forest, unless it's on the official maps and there's a sign at the beginning and end of that line that says it's allowed to use it by foot or on a bike, it's not an official path and its use is forbidden. Feel free to confirm with [email protected].

You can also check the management plan, page 609 - it's not marked as a path. https://www.natuurenbos.be/sites/default/files/beheerplan_zonienwoud.pdf

I will inform ANB of this exchange so they can clarify.

Unfortunately it's still visible in the forest as used by regulars, so should be mapped. But forest rangers need to block access physically.

As per regulations in Flanders, only paths officially recognised by forest authorities are allowed. These are not marked as allowed (no sign, no post, no name). I updated the map at their request. Feel free to discuss with ANB, their office is just near the Forest Museum of Groenendaal.

Absolutely. Didn't know you had a theme for that too.
