Not a problem, it's easy to make mistakes. Thank you for taking the time to improve the map. |
| 123248292 | over 3 years ago | From what I understand, you were mapping surveillance cameras? If so, I think this is the tag you were looking for:
The tag you used describes a shop.
If you'd like me to make that change let me know. |
| 123248292 | over 3 years ago | Hi saubär, You have added a number of camera shops to the map in this changeset which don't exist. Two examples I know not to exist:
Did you use the wrong tag? What were you trying to map at these locations? Thanks. |
| 121193281 | over 3 years ago | This change has introduced a number of floating nods which don't connect to anything. Barriers should ideally be tagged with the barrier key, and must be attached to the highway it is blocking. |

When creating a change, it is useful to specify the source of this change, as this helps others understand the source of the data you're adding making verification easier. See osm.wiki/Pick_your_mapping_technique for different data sources, and https://wiki.osmfoundation.org/wiki/Licence/Licence_and_Legal_FAQ#Can_I_copy_from_google_or_other_similar_sources? for info of sources you can't use. You should see the option to specify the "Sources" available underneath the "Changeset comment" box when making a change. See source=*#Specific_values for some example values. When filling in the address, there are separate fields for the house number, road name, and postcode. Separating out each field helps software which uses the address data. Thank you for contributing! |
| 115651195 | almost 4 years ago | Agreed. It's not clear from Bing what the situation is, other than at some point some of the recreation ground has been developed on with houses and OSM hadn't been updated to reflect which land was still recreation and which was residential. From memory, the boundary fence does include the area currently mapped as a pitch. Next time I'm that way I'll try to remember to make a note of where the schools boundaries do lie. |
| 105885343 | over 4 years ago | Likely a typo. Would need to resurvey, but my surveying isn’t planned. Will delete the value for now, to prod myself/others to recheck. |
