Just for info, I notice that this name got changed again in changeset/107523997 . I've no idea if it's correct or not (although isn't Doire Cholmcille the adjectival form rather than the noun?)

Hello Gift and welcome to OpenStreetMap!
The college you've added here is a very big building indeed - way/1010297335 covers all of the town centre.
Where should it really be?
Best Regards,
Andy

Your changeset comment is "Added businesses" but all objects are v2 here?
Please use changeset comments that actually describe the change made.

Are you sure that you've got the wikipedia link in place for node/599019138 ? It looks like it was changed from ckb to ar some time ago, but I suspect that ckb would make more sense here.
Can you explain your reasoning for sticking with the ar link here?
Best Regards,
Andy

Hello user_5359,
You've deleted some wikipedia links from this object. Presumably you believe that the articles contain the same content, despite people with the languages of those pages being _literally at war over this place_ over the last few years.
Do you have any particular knowledge that either (a) yes, the pages all have the same content or (b) the page you have chosen to represent it is actually the correct one?
For more background, please see some of the changeset comment links from https://map.atownsend.org.uk/maps/osm-deep-history/#/node/248436981 , where both sides of the language debate have put forward their sides of the story.
Best Regards,
Andy (from the Data Working Group)

Hello Tanya Dolgenko and welcome to OpenStreetMap!
Andy from OpenStreetMap's Data Working Group here. What is your source for the updates in this changeset?
As you can see from looking at e.g. node/8916227214/history , there have been lots of changes to this shop and people haven't explained the source of the changes. People in the US OSM community have complained to us about this, hence me asking you these questions about your changes.
Please explain what source you used , as described at osm.wiki/Good_changeset_comments .
Any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask - you can comment here, or you can email [email protected] .
Best Regards,
Andy

Hello c03105780,

I hope you don't mind me asking about an edit from 9(!) years ago. On this changeset you added a "source=Google" tag on the node here. We can't actually use that as a source in OSM because the Google's licence doesn't allow it to be used here - it would cause real problems for the project if we were found to be using Google Maps as a source.
If this is somewhere that you are familiar with, then "source=local_knowledge" would be perfectly OK.

Hello jg-,

I hope you don't mind me asking about an edit from 8(!) years ago. On this changeset you added a "source=Google" tag on the node here. Hello Saariselka Kuukkeli,

I hope you don't mind me asking about an edit from 5 years ago. On this changeset you added a "source=Google" tag on the node here. Hello 1Jude Babalola and welcome to OpenStreetMap!
If something doesn't have a name, or you don't know what it is, you don't need to create one. I'm guessing that you don't know what the name of way/986884077 actually is?
Best Regards,
Andy

Hello JriSv250,
Among the numerous complaints at http://resultmaps.neis-one.org/osm-discussion-comments?uid=11571754 . not using changeset comments that explain what you're actually doing is among the most common. See osm.wiki/Good_changeset_comments for more details.

I can't see any sign of way/968249777 west of node/8957929634 , and it also runs through a lake?

108774841 about 4 years ago

What is your source for way/968249778/history ? The imagery suggests that it goes through a lake at node/8957929736 .
