In this changeset, you have changed the name of this town and also reduced the population from 15550 to 5621. Both may be valid edits, or they may not be - can you explain to us why they are valid edits?

Hello,
I'm guessing that this is related to note/2552416 . Do you have any evidence that there is actually a cycleway here, or do you just know that "your driver was unable to drive"?
If the latter, it's not at all surprising because School Lane is marked in OSM as a service road, and there's no guarantee of public access along one of those in England and Wales.
If the router your company is using things that, then it is broken.

Hi Leo,
I certainly wouldn't object to changing it from a dead link, but I'm not sure what the "ref:url" was supposed to be for, since it doesn't really add a lot of value. The https://www.un.org/geospatial/content/western-sahara link is just where the UN thinks Western Sahara is.
Having the Western Sahara in OSM (albeit as "not a country") is useful as it's somewhere to hang the EH ISO code.

Hello Léo_M,
What the UN thinks as a country and what OSM thinks as a country are very different things. OSM's policy can be found at https://wiki.osmfoundation.org/w/images/d/d8/DisputedTerritoriesInformation.pdf The UN just reacts to political pressure which doesn't necessarily match the on-the-ground situation. The current mapping in this area is the result of a community discussion, which resulted in https://forum.openstreetmap.org/viewtopic.php?pid=606038#p606038 . If you think that the current mapping is incorrect then please do discuss with the rest of the OSM community - at the moment, the main talk list https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk is probably the best place to do that.

Andy Townsend, on behalf of OSM's Data Working Group.

Hello,
Looks like this introduced a gap in Capital_Ring_link_to_Hackney_Wick_station_12693073 - I've joined that up again in
changeset/110283744

Hello AndreiTiong,
Something has gone very wrong here. If I run the JOSM validator on way/973372977/history , I see that there are 27 overlapping buildings in the same location. Do you have any idea how this might have happened?

Andy

Not a question about the OSM data (which I think is correct for both the petrol station shop way/176079436 and the supermarket way/176079436 ) but I notice that the supermarket shows as "missing" at https://osm.mathmos.net/survey/#19/50.7998/-1.0902 , perhaps because of an incorrect match to the petrol station shop?

Re the fixme on node/1748986656 - how would I tell?

Hi PBRipley,
Thanks for your message (via John) saying that the Derwent Aqueduct looks OK now.
To comment on changesets you need to click on the changeset link in the notification email, type a comment in the box and click "comment". Unfortunately it's not very obvious - unlike OSM private messages, you can't just reply to the email...

Hello,
Just for info (since John Stanworth mentioned that you'd spotted a problem with the Derwent Aqueduct) - somehow it got turned into a big dog-leg as described in changeset/104453560 . I've undone the node moves of one of the ways in that - does the rest of relation/2734272 look OK now?
Incidentally, just in case you're not aware, the aqueduct should show up at https://map.atownsend.org.uk/maps/map/map.html#zoom=15&lat=53.1289&lon=-1.53228 at reasonable scales making it a bit easier to see.

Hi Dudley,
I think that something a bit unfortunate happened to part of the Derwent Aqueduct in here, as can be seen at https://overpass-turbo.eu/s/1aoI - it changed to a big right-angle rather than following-the-slope down from Bamford. I've undone the node moves in this changeset on it and it now looks a slightly more plausible way/203810089#map=12/53.2674/-1.5952 .

Hello,
While looking for something else (as usual) I happened to notice the name "Byway Open to All Traffic" here. If something does have that legal status, then adding a "designation" tag will make it clear to anyone using the data ("designation=byway_open_to_all_traffic"). Hope this helps - any any questions please ask.
Cheers,
Andy

Bonjour,
En êtes-vous sûr, ou est-ce une autre "blague" comme transformer la Bretagne en rivière ? Vous avez transformé la banque ici en un espace de co-working appelé « Gyproc » ?
Meilleures salutations,
Andy

Hello,
Are you sure about this, or is this another "joke" like turning Britanny into a river? You've changed the bank here into a co-working space called "plasterboard"?

Hello, in this changeset you have deleted way/578518542/history which was at https://overpass-turbo.eu/s/1aic . Looking at the imagery underneath at osm.org/#map=18/22.94824/88.64166 , it is clearly visible. Why did you deleted it?

Hello Jeet Dev,

Every recent changeset that you have made has the comment "Place does not exist". Can you please provide more details of what it is that does not exist and what you are mapping?

Best Regards,
Andy

Hello,
You've deleted way/500137390/history here "Source Esri and driver's feedback". Are you 100% sure that there is nothing at all here - no way for anyone to walk or cycle, for example?
Best Regards,
Andy
