Changeset When Comment

It's a bit of a long shot, but do you think that this route actually exists anywhere else outside Belgium?
There is a discussion at https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/revert-changeset-147456494/116932 where someone is complaining about the deletion, and also in changeset/147456494 .

Likely just spam - the typos on their "top noch website" (sic) suggest so.

Please try and use more descriptive changeset comments

I've frequently (https://resultmaps.neis-one.org/osm-discussion-comments?uid=24119 ) complained about your railway edits being of poor quality, in the wrong place and duplicating existing features. I had not previously realised that you are also doing this with canals https://map.atownsend.org.uk/maps/map/map.html#21/53.07310/-1.34395/H .
My original route here was from a survey in 2017; what was your source?

Hello Qizhen Ruan,
What was the actual error that was fixed here?
All of your recent changeset comments are just "fix error" - it'd be really useful to have something more descriptive. Have a look at osm.wiki/Good_changeset_comments for suggestions.
Best Regards,
Andy

Most of these names don't seem to be mentioned there, but I can see a sign that someone has made and stuck on a tree saying "Liberty Street" (no idea when). I'd have thought that that is at best a "loc_name".

Hello Vlad370,
Please don't use the production database for testing.

Also the A14 and M1 to Derby, and bus stops in Derby

Prompted by discussion at https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/effect-of-oneway-on-pedestrians/7631/119 . One more geometrical change needs to be done that isn't a good candidate for Vespucci.

Perhaps the easiest way to upload a picture as a source is to add a note with StreetComplete https://streetcomplete.app/ and record a picture at the same time. Then reference the note in the changeset comment. When you resolve the note, StreetComplete will delete the picture.

Hello,

The names that you added here have been removed, presumably because they are not verifiable by other mappers. If you have photographic evidence for these names as being current I suggest that you produce them.

Andy Townsend, on behalf of OSM's Data Working Group

Hello cubbe8,

It'd be great if you could be a bit more descriptive about your changeset comments, rather than just "updates" or similar.

Have a look at osm.wiki/Good_changeset_comments

Best Regards,

Andy

Removed "spur" - and filled in a couple of gaps.

(to save anyone looking) the change to the E15 was the removal of a couple of nodes that were in there in error - see relation/103222/history/1025 . A couple of Scottish roundabouts are still in there in error.

What was the source of this data?

This is not "the" original rules of football; merely one set - see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laws_of_the_Game_(association_football)#Pre-1863 for a bit of the history.
The oldest club football rules are https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sheffield_Rules and the oldest club plays at way/137409090/history .

@gileri In this example that argument is clearly rubbish. Here we have numerous photos including one from you that does not support your choice of name!

It certainly seems that "Orpi Millet Immobilier Pierre-Bénite" is NOT considered by most people as the best name to use here.
I've noted that no-one has changed it back; are people waiting for me to do that?
