In looking at your edits to this building I see you are trying to add HTML code into the 'source' tag for the building. The source tag is for the source of the information you used to add the building to the map, not for 'source code' for HTML markup and the like.

The openstreetmap database itself is just for the raw mapping data, i.e. the building's location, its address, if it is a business, etc. Anything else, like html forms, etc, should be done using a separate system built on top of the openstreetmap data, rather than being integrated into the database itself.

Like Andrew said, OSM has it's own tagging schema. But you can use OSM to locate all empty buildings.

If you create your own tag, something like "empty_since=2010-01-19", than you can query it with osm.

You can use the mapquest xapi (or any other api) to query for a specific tag (note that buildings are drawn as ways). Or you can even draw your own maps with that data (if you have a heavy server you can use).

Do think about the tag before you continue. You don't want it to collide with other tags that are already in use.

If you want to discuss the tagging, you can send a mail to the tagging mailing list (watch out, there are a lot of heavy discussions on that mailing list). And if you're happy with your tag, you can document it on the wiki.

Dear Sanderd17 and AndrewBuck,

I would very much appreciate your help with using OSM.

HOW IT IS:
I email photos of empty buildings to inemptybuildings.wordpress.com.
These photos are taken on my Nokia N8 so have gps coordinates.
Wordpress includes GeoRss in its RSS and I have them appear on this google map: http://g.co/maps/pdv43
but this info is not updating with the RSS

HOW I WANT IT TO BE:
1 How can I get this information to appear on a OSM?
2 How can I get it to be updated regularly?
3 How can I embed that map into my wordpress site?
