Hi jotoga, Thank you for contributing to OpenStreetMap (India).

You have added a few buildings which are overlapping with each other. Please try your best to avoid any overlapping building polygon.
Please remember to square the building for squared buildings (the shortcut is "Q", if the buildings a adjoint, select all the adjoint buildings to square it) to keep a good shape and draw the building individually at your best.

Hi oxygenre, Thank you for contributing to OpenStreetMap. I have found that you deleted many buildings which are visible from Satellite Imagery and re-added a few, rather than deleting it, you can use the same polygon and modify it correctly.
Please remember to square the building (shortcut is "Q", if the buildings a adjoint, select all the adjoint buildings to square it) to keep a good shape and draw the building individually at your best.

Hi sayanstr, Thank you for your contribution to OpenStreetMap. I have updated a few highway classifications after your edits. It would be great if you explore more about the highway classification guidelines of OpenStreetMap.(highway=secondary_link; osm.wiki/India/Tags/Highway)

Keep contributing and Happy Mapping!

Hi kavig, thank you for your contribution to the OpenStreetMap. Please check the configuration near node/11530067525. Based on this junction configuration, anyone driving on way/1240936197 can never reach way/232285879. Please consider the overall routing impact when you're adding dual carriageways. Adding to it, please partition the way where it is needed when you're adding oneway=yes tag on a highway. You have added the oneway=yes tag for the entire highway (way/43967828), but after node/2406465841 it is irrelevant to have the oneway tag.

Hi Pooja,
Please check the reality, where did you find the tunnel here (way/1124087855)?
Please refer OSM tagging guideline (railway=tram_level_crossing).

Hi Pooja,
Thank you for mapping in Kolkata. Please check the dual carriageway you have created, it is not a two-way road, and correct the junction configuration near node/302477389.

This highway (way/102784452) - is not merging at node/664472032, there is a physical barrier.
Happy Mapping!

Please find the policy of adding landuse=residential in OSM Wiki (landuse=residential). The complete admin boundary can not be a residential landuse for Kolkata.
Thank you & Happy Mapping!

Would you like to specify your edits? There is no level_crossing (Example: node/7661266554) exist for Kolkata Tramline and you completely messed up the topology!

Adding to Heinz_V's point, everything is documented here (osm.wiki/India/Rivers). Adding multipolygon=river_basn is not making any sense here. If I consider your point that community members should get it through the overpass or taginfo, mappers will look for "river_basin" not "river_basn".

@PlaneMad
My apology! It's a palace. I reconfirmed it. I talked with a senior person about the history. Though this palace one cannon house. The school near by this palace named after the name of the "Jamindar" of this palace.

39535556 about 7 years ago

I would like to say that it is a castle. Because it is surrounded by man made water tank and only two small bridges are there to reach this place.
Local people can easily recognize that place with this name.

@Ryzen First of all, I am not a paid mapper till now, what I contribute to OSM, completely with my personal interest and i love to do that. I helped others to organize mapathon freely and try to encourage map. I assured the Data working group that i will visit all the tasks done on the mapathon day because i care about OpenStreetMap data and it's uses.
