Bienegasse - I am very confused as to why you have tagged this entire road as a "bridge".
I have ridden it many times and I can assure you its a normal road in every way ?
The source=local knowledge, which is why I would love to learn your rationale.

webrian - Would you check that after adding the Nam Gniap reservoir outline, you have included within it, some pre-existing roads (assuming I have got the edit history correct).
Surely these should now be deleted ?

Yes sometimes with the mass of corrections necessary, I do sometimes miss a few that were tagged. I do try to review but occasionally miss a few. Please feel free to correct as necessary.

Why have you Kaart mappers changed the status of a number of link roads (U-turns) from the correctly tagged parent highway, to that of the connecting road.
The Wiki osm.wiki/Highway_link clearly says not to do this. Adding the road from new is one thing, but to change an experienced mappers work to suit you own ideas, without any consultation, is tantamount to arrogance bordering on vandalism.
I trust these changes are restricted to Lampang, but I fear not ?
Im correcting your tardy work as I go, but hopefully you will read this and revert them all.

I would be more concerned that the road actually exists ! It crosses from Thailand into Myanmar with no border control, or checkpoint mapped. I live in this area and I assure you that you can not simply stroll across the border on any road.

This is a health park... I am concerned that the roads are not open to vehicles, but have been drawn in as service roads with no access restrictions.
I am also surprised that the one way direction arrows seem to be different from the normal in Thailand, where we drive on the LEFT.
Until I can survey the park, I hope the #Grab editor will review his work and correct if necessary.
I do hope his other 11,000 edits have not assumed we drive on the RIGHT here in Thailand.

This is a road into the grounds of a temple - it should hot be tagged as Residential.
Please be more careful.

To add a little more detail, the old road has been demolished at its ends, and a brand new bridge has been built following the new line which I got from my GPS. While technically parts of the old road still exist. a concrete barrier and broken surface prevents any access, so for OSM purposes, as it doesn't connect to anything, I see no point in showing it on the map.
I'm sure in time, the jungle will reclaim it anyway!

Tnx Julian - the section is completely new and permanent. While you can still see remnants of the old road, it does not connect to the 1263 any more, as far I cud tell while whizzing past.
I have changed the tag to "abandoned", as perhaps a little more accurate than "no", but in cases like these, I do think its important to leave the way showing (with a note), as hopefully it will prevent zealous mappers from using the imagery and re-tracing the out of date section.

Thanks for adding Way: 964218917. I tried to drive my car down it today - it is a FOOTWAY with three bollards in the centre.
Why can you GRAB editors not be more careful instead of adding everything you see without checking a streetview ??
I have fixed your mistake.

Are you an idiot ? I surveyed this on the ground and correctly added it as a primary link . Its a U-turn, and that how we map in Thailand and the rest of the world.
You have come along and changed it to a service road to match the tiny little bits of data you want to add for Grab ti justify your salary.
Its WRONG and your efforts are destroying the accuracy of our data in Thailand.
I see you have left the Grab team now, and left the Thai mappers to fix all your crap !

Way : 931355389 - I surveyed this road when it became a dual carriageway several years ago - maybe I missed this link, so I checked the more recent aerials.
As suspected, just another fictitious Grab road. THERE IS NO U TURN HERE ! Its a solid grass median.
Deleted now.

Regarding Way: 931305028 - this way and a few others close by have been drawn connecting to BOTH carriageways of Hwy 201.
This is wrong and dangerous for anyone using a GPS looking for a U-turn.
The aerial imagery clearly shows a grass median here so the service road you have added is mapped INCORRECTLY.
Please check ALL your edits and change any other similar mistakes. I have corrected the ones I have found.

You have added in the new road - great....
But,
- failed to tag it as unclassified to match the road it connects to.
- failed to delete the old connecting road to Hwy 11 (way/698774283(.
- failed to adjust the road geometry to how it is on the ground.
- failed to mark it as one way.

I wish you Grab editors would take more pride in your work instead of these half arsed edits that never correct the surrounding data.

I have corrected it.

Wiki or not, I don't understand the logic of changing one and a half sides of the Chiang Mai Moat road to Primary, while the rest remains Tertiary.
And if routing is the logic, then how does travelling N-S differ from S-N ?
Physically both inner and outer roads are most the same (2-lane) so why the huge difference in status?

Please can you improve the quality of your tracing. And again, yourr tagging is terrible. This should be tagged as power=generator and not building=apartments.
I have corrected it.

junbinli - Don't suppose you will even read this as you have not mapped for some time ... Do you realise you have just added a whole village worth of houses over the top of existing ones.
How can malaria data ever be trusted with such silly mistakes as these ever present in the data ?

85750350 about 3 years ago

sueannlee - Please be more careful when tracing buildings. You are adding new buildings on top of existing ones. This is wrong, and degrades the quality of the map. I will delete any I find, but you might like to check your past work.

teeraporn deejai - You should tag residential houses as building=house, they do not need to be given the name บ้าน.
