Hi, I note you have tagged this road (Natures Highway) as no access. Is there a reason as I was hoping to ride it next month ?
Cheers

Ha, Yes - a very long time ago. Feel free to correct and any other occurrences you find. Rgds.

My apologies - when I also looked yesterday, you were right .... the sign looked abandoned, many rooms had no curtains, and a friend said it had closed along with the hoarded bldg next store.
However, the web site shows recent reviews so they are obviously still trading. I will revert the change.
Cheers.

Or a farmland boundary - not sure what the intention is here but it doesn't look right !

163287226 4 months ago

Carusiocled - did u really mean to turn this abandoned railway line, into a farm access track ??

For fucks sake, why have you removed the PROVINCE prefix from many Thai roads. Please go back and review your edits and put it back.
READ our WIKI on road refs before changing them !

OK, I have taken another look at the whole area, and being as roads such as Loi Khro are now unclassified and some of the one-way system has been upped to secondary, I am keeping your tertiary status and upping the rest of the system to match.
Had you raised this at the time, we could have applied the consistency some time ago.

140788727 10 months ago

I guess Grab doesn't really care about the random changes it makes as you have made no attempt to respond.
I am reverting this back to unclassified, and upgrading the connecting residential road to the same ... they form part of the one way system taking traffic through the city.
If you lived here, you would realise this, so AGAIN I ask you NOT to change the status of important roads without a word to the original (or local mappers).

Yes, absolutely. There must be hundreds of old edits I have added in the past that are now closed/changed, and only get updated if I pass.
Feel free to change any of my stuff - I know you are one of the responsible ones.
Cheers.

meek9ng - In this changeset, I see you have "fixed" a waterway/highway intersection (node/11222872479 to be specific).
I know it is tempting to hit any answer to fix a problem in Map roulette, but this is WRONG.
In a major city, it would be unlikely to see a tertiary road cross a drainage canal ... think about it !
In this case, clearly a bridge is the correct answer, and I would urge you to not stick any answer in, unless you are sure.
I will correct this one for you, but suggest you review your other contributions that may be of a similar nature.
Russ.

Paul, you are missing the point ... I'm fully aware of the Wiki (and helped in its creation)..
This is a NATIONAL road, (white sign, black letters, no province prefix). You have treated it a as a PROVINCIAL road (blue sign, white letters, with a prefix).
Very occasionally, NATIONAL roads do have their responsibility changed to PROVINCIAL (& vice versa), but this is very rare.
Google streetview does show the sign as recently as 6 months ago (https://www.google.com/maps/@16.6721203,99.2768462,3a,75y,201.91h,79.61t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1sQMK9duKCAZ7H6DnPgMbx2Q!2e0!6shttps:%2F%2Fstreetviewpixels-pa.googleapis.com%2Fv1%2Fthumbnail%3Fcb_client%3Dmaps_sv.tactile%26w%3D900%26h%3D600%26pitch%3D10.385363918863035%26panoid%3DQMK9duKCAZ7H6DnPgMbx2Q%26yaw%3D201.905833071043!7i16384!8i8192?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI1MDEyOC4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D).
I doubt if it has changed in the interim so to me, it should not have a province prefix added.
I trust this helps explain, but feel free to reply if not.

Any reason why the Province prefix has been added to some of this road, but not all of it ....
which is wrong anyway, as Thai National roads DO NOT CARRY a province prefix. Please amend along with any others you have changed in a similar manner.

Please don't change links across highways to the same status as the road they connect to. This is WRONG and contravenes the Wiki advice.
I will revert any I find.

This in NOT a tertiary road. It is an unpaved minor road at best, passing through army controlled land, and only suitable for 4WD. I know as I went down it last week.
Please read the relevant Wiki and stop validating things you don't understand.
I have changed it back.

161155897 11 months ago

Paul - I don't think this single highway section of the 1072 is one way. Perhaps an error ?
Can you take a look and correct if appropriate. Cheers, Russ.

Please do not delete the พช. province prefix. These are an important part of the road numbering system in Thailand.
I have rectified this one.

I see many residential streets have been changed by User 8221, to "living streets". Having looked at some of these while recently in Dalat, these streets DO NOT conform to the guidance in both global and Vietnamese Wiki's.
The majority of these do not have shared access for pedestrians and vehicles, and the original tag of residential was correct.
Its true that there are a number of ways that only motorcycles can physically drive down and in reality, access is shared with pedestrians, but this does not apply to the larger streets where vehicles are visible. In this case, perhaps alley with the access tags of motor_vehicle=no, motorcycle=yes would be more appropriate ? Or even consider a path/footway where the width is limited.
I strongly urge 8221 to review & revert these changes, where applicable.

Yes I'm fully aware of the wiki... the problem comes with upload bugs in OsmAnd resulting in the problem nodes being stored then uploaded all together once a manual upload is triggered. While they can be done individually its a time consuming process and that's if u remember what country each edit was made.

Why are the Province prefixes being removed from roads ??

141691203 about 1 year ago

Why has the Thai script been removed from this road ref ?? - this is a DDR road and should carry the official Thai prefix.
I hope you have not fucked with any other DDR road refs without valid reason. I will revert this one and any others I find.
