Thanks for noticing! I've changed it back to highway=trunk and added a note on the sections and commit message for future mappers to notice. I struggled to find formal confirmation that this is the case and ended up using https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunedin_Southern_Motorway to determine which section is not a motorway.

I traced one from the Bing imagery and then copy and pasted the rest into their correct location. As they're made from standard concrete pipe they're all the same size.

I had just skipped them when draing the rest of the buildings until I was sure what they should be tagged with.

I've walked the area and looked at them and I first thought they were water tanks but they have doors on them.

A google image search brings up http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oranga#/media/File:State_Housing_in_Oranga,_Auckland,_1947.jpg which shows them there at the time the area was subdivided.

The final piece that confirmed is for me is from the book "Beyond the State" (ISBN 978-0-143-57065-3) which talked about how often sheds were built with state houses. On page 47 it says:

"...in the Fletchers contract at Auckland's Harp of Erin, for example, concrete water pipes of very large diameter were used to make sheds in the back garden."

Given how close this is to these houses I took this as confirmation of what they are.

This site has been redeveloped since the photos this change were traced from. The previous versions of these building was correct.

This change has marked the St Francis Retreat Centre as a hospital. As far as I can tell it is a monastary.

In this changeset the building adjacent to Countdown on Stoddard road has also been marked as Countdown. They don't appear to be connected to me. Any evidence that they are?
