I create POIs covering permanent buildings by providing addresses, coordinates, categories, photos, and general information in the latest or most updated POIs, based on real-world data from surveys on foot and by motorcycle. Weather conditions play a significant role in POI creation. Heavy rain makes it difficult to create POIs because photos are unclear, and conversely, very hot days make it impossible to take objective photos. I create POI data for OpenStreet Maps. I hope it’s useful for everyone here. I’d be thrilled if I received support from all my friends. You can see the POIs on my OpenStreetMaps profile. Thank you.

POIs FTW!

To be more explicit: from my POI (See what I did there?), POIs are what makes the map useful to most people.

yes it is very useful for everyone who wants to use it.

Thank you for making OSM awesome! 🫡

Do you also bother to add the photos on street-level imagery services (Panoramax, Mapillary, Kartaview)?

Thank you, bro. Since I’m free, I use my time to benefit others. I only used a photo from my phone to identify that the building is real and exists.

That’s cool. You may find it interesting to know that there are many OSM-based apps that can utilize these photos, in case you’re interested in sharing any.

I think the easiest to use for capturing any would be the MapComplete themes, which will let you add any photo for many POIs or features.
