I didn't know that the path was on a private land, but at the time it was a friend of mine who showed me the way path he and his family took when they wanted to reach the cycling path (for good reason, the road around there is somewhat twisty and narrow, and cars go fast, so dangerous for walkers). The trail was clearly used regularly by hikers and I did'nt see a sign anywhere forbidding access (lots of trails in the area cross private grounds so it wasn't weird at all). Maybe the land is getting developed now? I can't verify now since my friend moved and there's no reason I would go near there anytime soon. I suppose if it's an issue the path should be removed from the map.
