That is true and it doesn't count the ones I catch myself before sending them in.

Finger trouble with the app and not noticing the error is what lets them slip through.

When I type bunnings into the gps app I get a whole list of bunnings warehouses but no clue as to which one they are.

If there was some way of seeing the suburb they were in in the search results that would be most helpful.

The issue is that OSMand doesn't yet recognise unit numbers. It has to be manually added which is quite a bit of bother.

I'm a courier and have found many locations where building numbers are not in. One of the things I can do is add building numbers when I deliver to those locations. I use the editing plugin of OMSAnd+ to achieve this. If it's anything more significant than that I sometimes use Vespucci to add road names but most of the time that is as far as it goes regarding my map editing. Occasionaly I'll add POI's especially toilets and other park facilities where I find them missing.

My edits are done mainly with the hope that it will make it easier for others in the area to get around the streets I've already been to.

I'll give Streetcomplete a crack and see how it goes.

Also in general I'm told it is possible to roll back changes. Does anyone know how that can be done?

@Leon I'm using OSMand+ and the last time I checked if there was no building tag on the address then it would not find it.

That may have changed now and if so I'll try and work out a different way of adding the building tag to real addresses.

I'm confused as to how that could be happening because I used the search criteria "Address annotion" then removed from the selection any thing that already had a building tag. Are you saying that some of these other things have address tags in them as well?

There is a very good reason for adding the building tag. The navigator doesn't find the address because it thinks there's nothing at the address. As a courier driver I need to find those addresses. The building tag is how I get to find them.

Ok I need to know how to revert. I seem to have got the hang of adding building tags now. I'll revert and then put the proper changes in.

My bad. I set the selection criteria wrong. I'm only interested in setting the "building = yes" tag to buildings. I'm still learning how to avoid non buildings.
