about 6 years ago | Hi, please don't add descriptive names like "Private Property" to roads. It is tagged as private, so routing software should avoid it. If you have questions, don't hesitate to reach out.
about 6 years ago | Maybe it's a privately developed/owned park. See BYOB Vintners right below the park. Perhaps they couldn't use all of the trapezoidal property and set aside some for a park?
about 6 years ago | Hello, Maps.me does not allow manual uploads. So whenever it decides to upload data, it does, regardless of whether or not the data is in the same area. Unfortunately no way around that.
about 6 years ago | Hello, this is an unfortunate result of the way Maps.me is coded. Nothing I can do to prevent this from happening.
about 6 years ago | Thanks, I was relying on the plan for the park to get the name.
over 6 years ago | Hey buddy, maybe next time consider that no one in Bolivia had named the lake in Spanish, requiring an out-of-country editor to do the work. Thanks.
over 6 years ago | Unfortunately I was just passing through when I surveyed.
over 6 years ago | If you continue to spam, you will be blocked.
over 6 years ago | This is definitely wrong. There isn's a building covering a quarter of downtown Seattle. Reverting.
over 6 years ago | Looking through old changesets, this user has been repeatedly called out for vandalism and spam. We need a permanent ban on this account.
over 6 years ago | More spam from PolyGang, now under a new account. IP ban may be necessary.
over 6 years ago | PolyGang, in case you are not aware, you have been repeatedly changing the name of the city of Sammamish to William Wang, and linking the Wikipedia article for William Wang, the founder of Vizio. Honestly, this is such a bizarre change (especially repeatedly) that I have to wonder if you are confused about what you are doing. It is very different that the normal vandalism we get. If you need assistance or guidance or don't understand how OSM works, reach out.
over 6 years ago | No worries, thanks for the edits!
over 6 years ago | Be careful about tagging datacenter areas. You accidentally had them tagged as buildings, whereas they are landuse. I';ve fixed a couple of them.
over 6 years ago | Do not add tag spam. This will be reverted.
over 6 years ago | Huh, I heard it was already closed (possible I misheard it). I'll change it back for now since you're right, according to an Eater article. I'll add a fixme as well.
over 6 years ago | Thanks for the update. I used King County's address data to do an import of all the cities south of Seattle late last year (including Des Moines), but keeping them updated is difficult. Appreciate the help! Cheers!
over 6 years ago | Hey, nice job with the edits and welcome to OSM! One minor thing: when adding roads, be sure to use the unabbreviated names (East instead of E, Road instead of Rd). It will help make sure that programs can properly use the data. Let me know if you have questions. Cheers!
over 6 years ago | Welcome to OSM! For your information, since edits are visible to all, we do not name places like "My house" or "Jim's house," for example. Let me know if you have questions. Cheers.
over 6 years ago | This needs to be reverted. Lots of personal info here
