almost 7 years ago | Hey, the edits look good. A note for future additions of store hours, here's the nomenclature to ensure that they can be properly read by programs: opening_hours=*
almost 7 years ago | Hey, thanks for the edits! For future reference, we use meters for elevation. I fixed it. Feel free to send me a note if you have any questions.
almost 7 years ago | Hey, thanks for the edits. They look great! One note: please don't delete the golf course outline itself. I have added it back it. It is critical for people to find the course. Let me know if you have any questions.
almost 7 years ago | Hey, thanks for the edits. One note: if you want to show a house, you don't need to name it "a house" or anything like that. Just add the house and if you can the address. Thanks, and let me know if you have any questions.
almost 7 years ago | Another broken changeset. Please stop adding duplicates.
almost 7 years ago | Yep, this is broken again. All duplicate nodes.
almost 7 years ago | Indeed, I know I made much worse mistakes when I started, but the community was always there to help.
almost 7 years ago | I fixed both of these issues.
almost 7 years ago | Hey, thanks for the edits. A few note for the future: since the school grounds are already tagged with the name, we try to avoid duplicating the name on the buildings. that way, if someone searches, they only get one result. Second, for bus stops, please avoid placing the info on the road itself. Instead, make a point where the bus stops and add the info there. Please let me know if you have any questions!
almost 7 years ago | Thanks for using the private tag to mark private roads. For logging roads, I would also generally use "Unmaintained track" instead of residential. One other thing: if a road has no name, either leave it without a name or use the tag noname=yes.
almost 7 years ago | I changed it, as I think you know this from personal experience. However, when editing OpenStreetMap it's best not to use Google Maps, even as a backup source. We are prohibited by copyright from using info from Google Maps. However, if you know something personally, feel free to add it. Thanks for the other edits!
almost 7 years ago | D Overton, until the logging roads no longer exist on the ground, they should still be mapped. They are very clearly visible from current imagery, so they should remain mapped. I understand that you might want to delete them so they don't show up as important as main roads, but you should tag them as private driveways (for people's personal driveways) or as private track roads (for logging roads) instead of outright deleting them. I have reverted these changesets, but also reclassified a lot of the roads you deleted to show you the proper tagging methodology.
almost 7 years ago | Please don't delete roads that exist because they are private. I will be reverting both of your changeset. If you have questions, please reach out.
almost 7 years ago | Great quality edits.
almost 7 years ago | This should be reverted, tags were only deleted. Nothing was added.
almost 7 years ago | Thanks for the update! I changed the store type to a pet store from a fabric store.
almost 7 years ago | As the road is split by a median, this mapping is incorrect. Medians signify a physical barrier, and OSM generally accepted rules are to map the two roads separately. To rectify navigation issues, turn restrictions should be used.
almost 7 years ago | Thanks for the change. One small note, we typically expand abbreviations like NW. I'll make that fix for you. Thanks again.
almost 7 years ago | Whoops, meant to put 30 into the speed limit, not lanes. Good catch, thanks.
almost 7 years ago | Hi there, looks decent. One suggestion: select the buildings when you finish drawing them and either click the button that pops up that looks like a square or hit 's'. This will square the corners of the buildings and make it look even nice. Nice work altogether!
