State of the Map Asia Conference 2022: We had a very great time from the very beginning to the end of the conference. We were really very excited to be part of the conference with our team representing Omnecal. We explored the natural beauty of Legazpi City, Philippines, and its people are really very amazing. We recommend visiting Legazpi as it is truly a beautiful place with wonderful people.

There were different kinds of workshop sessions, panel discussions, speaker talks, and many more on Open Street Map Technology and its application to make this world a better place to live. We have learned more clearly that OSM technology has a very big potential to impact the open community. OSM technology can be used as a tech tool for solving real-life problems in our community. We have realized lots of new possibilities through omnecal to provide a better map view with public transportation information, with the OSM technology.

We also had the opportunity to talk with our mentors and inspiring people from big organizations like Meta, Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team (HOT), etc. It was an honor to share our thoughts with them and establish a mentorship connection with them.

We met many friends from the Philippines and different countries at the conference. They were really very friendly and great people, and we had a memorable and beautiful time with them. Although we all met through the conference, it felt like we had known each other for years. Thank you to these great people for making this trip wonderful.

Thank you for this incredible experience at the State of the Map Asia Conference 2022 in Legazpi City, Philippines. It was an absolute pleasure to be a part of such a diverse and inspiring community of Open Street Map enthusiasts and professionals.

We were absolutely blown away by the wealth of knowledge and expertise present at the conference. The workshops, panel discussions, and speaker talks were truly eye-opening and gave us a deeper understanding of the potential of OSM technology to make a positive impact on the world. It was an honor to have the opportunity to learn from and interact with mentors and inspiring individuals from organizations like Meta and the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team (HOT).

In addition to the educational aspect of the conference, it was a fantastic opportunity for us to network and connect with fellow OSM enthusiasts from across the globe. We made so many new friends from the Philippines and other countries, and the feeling of camaraderie and shared purpose was truly special. We feel grateful to have been a part of such an amazing experience.

After inspiration from the conference, we are planning to map each and every public transit of Kathmandu valley in OSM. We believe that by providing accurate and up-to-date information about public transportation in our community, we can help make it a more accessible and convenient option for people. This will in turn reduce the reliance on private transportation, which is a major contributor to pollution and traffic congestion in the Kathmandu valley.

We also believe that by collaborating with the government and bus operators, we can create a more transparent and efficient public transportation system. By using our Omnecal system, which tracks all data of the public transportation service ecosystem using otrack and opay and show them converting to the information using OSM mapping technology for the real-time map view, we can provide a wealth of information to both the public and the government. Our Omnecal public app will allow users to easily plan their trips and view important information such as the location of nearby bus stops, the time of buses to those stops, the step-by-step process of their trip, and the passenger density on their desired bus. Our portal for traffic departments will provide real-time alerts about bus operators who are breaking rules or engaging in unhealthy competition, while our Omnecal owner app will give bus owners real-time updates on their services, including tracking of their buses, passenger numbers, and revenue collection.

We are extremely grateful to the organizing team, volunteers, speakers, and all others who contributed to the success of this conference. It was truly an unforgettable experience for us, and we are excited to continue our work in OSM and make a positive impact on our community.
