Messages Reimagined

Presenting the redesigned messages inbox interface! Inspired by Thunderbird and modern webmail clients, the new messaging system offers a more intuitive experience and lays the groundwork for our future notifications system. A key improvement is that browsing messages now uses the sidebar system instead of opening new pages. We’ve also introduced a streamlined toolbar for common message management actions.

Profile Descriptions

We’ve completed the implementation of profile description editing functionality. Using the Bootstrap modal component, the new interface allows users to seamlessly edit their profile descriptions directly from their profile page.

Matrix Chat Room

OpenStreetMap-NG contributors can now communicate via Matrix room in addition to Discord server. We’ve bridged both platforms together to make development collaboration even more accessible.
