You can see the former railway with the openrailwaymap infrstructure-overlay.

This former railway is not adapted for walking or cycling in its entirety yet, but I have heard that it is possible to walk on parts of it. I don't know if it is legal to use the old railway as a walking path. If not I think it should not be tagged as a path in OSM? Perhaps as a path that is not allowed to be walked on.

There are people working to make it become a tourist attraction, but it seems to take long time. There is need for a lot of money and a lot of work before that can become a reality. Until then, tunnels and bridges are closed to the general public, because there is a need for necessary security measures to be carried out first.
So I think it won't be right to duplicate it in its entirety.

If it the conclusion s that it should be tagged as a path, is it necessary to duplicate it? Can't you just add highway=path at the parts where it is possible to walk on it? Or will some of the tags belonging to the path mess with railway tags?

Takk.

You should at least add the tag layer=-1 to the building. Now it is a very long overground building that not exist in reality.

I think the best option is to remove it.

Add the tag tunnel:name=* as descibed here: tunnel=*

The official name of the tunnel is "Finsetunnelen" (in norwegian). Then add tag tunnel:name=Finsetunnelen.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Finse_Tunnel

If you want to have the english unofficial name, then add tunnel:name:en=Finse Tunnel, but maybe tunnel:alt_name:en=Finse Tunnel is more correct, since the official name is in norwegian.

Hi
I wonder what you meant with this building? I have never seen anyone draw a building around a tunnel this way before. This is not a avalanche protector, like the other buildings at the railway, but a real tunnel through rock.

Thank you for your feedback. These are snowmobile trails that are out in the terrain. For the most part, there are no roads or traces left after the snow has melted, and it will therefore be wrong to tag them with the "highway" tag. This applies to most lines that have the tag snowmobile=designated. Sometimes they follow roads, and then the they are tagged with the "highway" tag also.

I forgot to change the tag "rutenummer" to "ref" on this, but it is now corrected.

Use http://kelkkareitit.fi to see the result.

Tags are described here: snowmobile=*

I see you have changed the name on Gammelsætra to Gammelsetra. The reason i spelled this name Gammelsætra was because it was spelled that way on the sign in the road (I got a picture of the sign).
I dont remember, but think it may be the same thing with the names in Talvik. I can take a look at them next time i go there.
