Hi, ok, you are saying it should be Kokuousan? Basically I’ve travelled for 5 weeks around Japan and been frustrated by so many places on OSM being in Kanji but no romanisation. So I’ve tried updating some of it so I can find temples, shrines etc. I’ve asked Japanese friends, used Google translate apps to try and get a romanised name next to the Kanji or other Japanese scripts. There are risks, may be occasional mistake but the alternative is most westerners cannot read what the place name is. If anyone has better info, I hope they will correct my mistakes. I know most of the changes I’ve made are correct but occasionally a mistake will be made. The alternative is an unusable map for tourists in Japan.
