Changeset 16028497 by Danzelot spoiled the map (using iD 1.0.0).
Examples: Nodes 716969996 and 727642607. And landuse=residential for “Böfingen” disappeared.
I tried to fix it, but got stuck. Can someone help, please.
Thanks.

As far as I know, JOSM has a changeset revert plugin that lets you revert changes. Otherwise open the map in Potlatch 2, select to broken way and press “h” which pops up a “history” window :) Anyway it’s a good idea to contact Danzelot first and talk to him. Often breaking the map isn’t on purpose and once I had a similiar issue, the user didn’t even know about the problem ;)

I already contacted Danzelot and I am sure, it was not on purpose. I suspect it is a side-effec of iD 1.0.0 usage. I guess he tried to move around on the map and moved some nodes instead.

Hi Nachtspazz, when editing the map ID crashed on saving my changes. I’m sorry. Danzelot

I had a try at using the JOSM reverter plugin to fix things, however its very hard to tell if its working, as the above changeset is one of many that makes “unintended” changes to the map… If you are really stuck, and have discussed this with Danzelot, I can go ahead and try to revert/fix the problem changesets.
The alternative is to manually fix the incorrect data?

Thanks. I will try to fix it manually. (I still have copy of the area from 2nd May. This should give me good guidance).

Ok, for future reference, If you do see changeset(s) that in part or in full need reverting, do not attempt to manually repair the damage, as this complicates using most of the automated tools.

DONE.
Thanks for the hints.
